Ok here's the deal. The company my husband works for finally offered him his promotion. That is great news right? Here is the hitch. We would have to move to Baton Rouge Louisiana. Wait that isn't the REAL hitch. We HAVE to be out of this apt. by next Saturday. No if's ands or buts. Our current apt has already been leased out. So there is no paying month to month or anything like that. IF we take the other apt we have to pay more than a thousand dollars to break the lease. If we take it on the monthly basis they tack an additional 200 dollars to the rent plus we have to move all our crap just to move it again to Louisiana. The other option is for the company to ship us off to Baton Rouge and spend Christmas in a hotel.
To be honest I'm not really concerned with what we will do when we get to Louisiana. We can stay in a hotel on the company dime till we find a place to live. Inconvenient but doable. It's where we will be sleeping next week that worries me! Of course the big wigs aren't as worried about these things as I am. I have no way for lighting a fire under them. We just have to wait. WAIT? I don't have time to wait. We have to be out of here in a week!
This probably makes no sense. My mind is just a jumble!

Congrats to CCB on the promotion! But why do they have to do all of this so close to Christmas and the end of the year?? Scrooges, all of 'em!
