In a recent conversation I was told that the "real" me isn't really represented in my blog. While I have never told any lies about who I am or what I'm about I realize that there is more I could share so here:
I prefer Cottonelle toilet paper over any other. It's quilted texture is more "grippy".
I enjoy baking. I liked the status of being the dessert maker of my husbands family. Family gatherings were the perfect opportunity to try out new recipes.
I stopped drinking shortly before I got pregnant with my daughter nearly eleven years ago. Do I care if you drink? Go ahead! Just don't drive! What works for me isn't for everyone. I still get cravings for Amaretto (MMMMM) but being the dork I am I don't want to break my streak!
I like both dogs and cats but cats fit better into our family. They are more independent and don't need my constant attention. (Sorry Barnze!)
I don't like to eat out by myself. I always feel like people will feel sorry for me. After all that is the way I feel when I see others eating alone. I know it probably isn't the case but that's just the way I am.
I'll stand up for someone else before I will stand up for myself.
It makes me giggle when my husband bounces me on his knees. Don't judge me! Try it! See if it doesn't make you giggle. There is a reason children enjoy it!
I always have issues with my hair. It rarely turns out like I'd like it to. You'd think that after nearly 34 years with this mop I could tame it.
I don't feel my age. I feel like I'm just a big stupid kid.
There. There is a little more of me. I'm a dork but I'm comfy with it.
Happy Monday!

sounds like your cat is absolutely nothing like mine.
LOL thanks for sharing! I like cook desserts too!
I know the feeling about the unruly hair so I just go for the short gamine look, not a fashion statement more of an "I can't be bothered" statement!
desserts? desserts? Try masterpieces of tasty, delictable delights!
Oh yeah, Cocoa Krinkles, please.
Dork? Dork? DORK?
I don't think so!
"dork" and "oh great one" don't fit on the same page.
OGO we have a lot in common! I also don't share a lot of myself on my blog. I mean, who does? Unless we all knew each other in real life we really don't have a chance to get the "real" anyone. I mean, when we read each other's blogs we are getting one side of things, one persons opinion, how the author perceive things, etc. I mean, I'm not going to go into a whole post about how people hate when I whatever, or how I did something really mean once or all of my terrible flaws...BUT, I like the you that is on your blog so for me, that's good enough! Happy Monday...
Not sure I could go without a margarita for that damn long.
I'm a Cottonelle fan myself! (or at the very least AngelSoft)
I also have an unruly mane, which is why I love the fact that ponytails never go out of style.
If my husband tried to bounce me on his knees, they would have to replace his kneecaps!;)
tim- that is a naughty avatar. I like it.
I too have horrible hair. Its thick and wavy and tends to friz; one side will curl while the other side flops. Pony tails give me sanity. I prefer quilted northern, but mostly for ease- the texture is nice and I can quickly grap a huge bag with out hemming and hawing. i used to go for the cheapest (NOT Scott)- then i got a plan. But cotonelle is good, too. Usually my second choice if the QN is out of stock. I buy the same peanut butter 99.9% of the time (jif). I don't feel my age either! Just the other day I thought to myself- am I really 30?
Yummmm..I like desserts too, but they put weight right on my hips, so I try not to eat too many.
Get a hair cut and see what happens.
Go for you, no alcohol for 11 years. You don't need it. Don't tempt yourself.
I thinkI will try the bouncy thing. You can never have too many giggles.
