*sigh*My birthday weekend is over already?

Wow! I hope you all had as wonderful a weekend as I did. My sweet CCB really did a fabulous job. The whole weekend revolved around the things I like to do. Even though it isn't his favorite thing, CCB came out and tinkered in the "soon to be" garden. He helped me plant plants and water every thing. It may not sound like much but it made me very happy! We walked to the ice cream shop for birthday treats and on Saturday I got my birthday dinner. We didn't to it on Friday because we ate lunch too late and no one was hungry. My daughter had a sleep over so my CCB and I got some "quality time" after my son went to bed. As for gifts, he did a great job there too. He bought me clothes, big pots for the garden(something I would never have purchased for myself) , a cool sprayer wand and a swimsuit.

Any woman can tell you that buying a swimsuit for a woman can be dicey water but it actually fit! He also kept it modest so I wouldn't be tucking things in and being tugging on it the whole time. I do realize however, that was just one more ploy to get me to engage in the watergun fights that regularly take place around here. It worked. Partially because of the swimsuit but mostly because he got me a big ole watergun! I refuse to spend tons of cash on a watergun so he went out and did it himself. Since he got it on clearance I couldn't get mad. Everyone of us was a soggy mess by the time we were done. We had a blast!

None of the events were earth shattering but they were all perfect for me. What a wonderful *ehem*34th*ehem* birthday!
