I forgot to tell you about my Salmon the other night. It was very tasty! My husband liked it. The children..Eh not so much. That doesn't surprise me though. I'm just glad they tried it. I also tried a recipe for Spicy Flank steak that my husband and son enjoyed. Woo hoo! I'm two for two this weekend on new recipes!
Speaking of cooking. I'm very proud of myself.. I have cooked every night since I went grocery shopping on the 5th! That has got to be some sort of record! I even cooked on the weekend! I didn't buckle under to my desire for Chinese take out or a fat ole pan pizza. Yay me! Oh! And I want to thank those of you who left me new recipes to try!
The "little black dress" that I won on eBay came in the mail yesterday. I LOVE it! I was sort of hoping I could talk the neighbor into keeping my kids for a couple of hours so my hubby could take me out for our anniversary this weekend. Although if I work that out I'm gonna have to get some more practice in those freakin' heels! I haven't had to walk much in them at home! *wink wink* If I wear them out I better be able walk!
It looks as though my brother in law will be coming to visit us over Thanksgiving. I'm very pleased. I finally have a house that is large enough to have a family meal in, and no family around to entertain! It will be nice to have them here for the holiday. Unfortunately no my parental in-laws won't be visiting since we won't be "alone". I don't know when they will plan to come out now. I've got to get my butt in gear and finish some projects I have planned! I was going to post pictures of the bathroom I worked on for days but blogger won't let me post them. Maybe later.
Have a Terrific Tuesday!

Good for you for all this cooking. Mmmm, delicious.
Cooking since the 5th?! Wonderful! I wish I could as well...but my cravings change all the time!
We have similar "who likes it?" issues at our house. There are not very many exciting "adult" meals that all 3 kids will enjoy.
To Love, Honor and Dismay
Salmon sounds wonderful. I'd have caved in and got a take out long before now, good for you!
Glad your recipes turned out well. I'll bet you are saving some money will all that cooking.
Practice walking around in those heels. Walk up and down some stairs and hang on to the rail. Good luck.
We love salmon and it is very healthy. We buy a nice salmon fillet when we can find one. We then marinate it in Italian dressing for several hours and cook it for 8-10 minutes in covered glass dish in microwave. It is especially nice for hot weather when you don't want to heat up your oven or stand over a hot stove. Add bread and salad to make a nice quick meal.
My husband and I try and cut down on eating out, but have yet to get that down yet. I commend you on pulling that off.
