I need help...

I'm gonna let you in on a secret. It's not a secret to people who know me in the real world but it may be to those of you who know me only in the blogosphere. I'm a bit of a goober. No really I am! I recently found out that my husband liked the look of high heels on women. I was a little surprised to find this out after being together for 14 years. Then I talked to my sister in law who informed me that ALL men liked them. Apparently I was off the mark to think that MY man was any different than the rest of the male gender.

I find a pair of hot little shoes on eBay. My husband take one look at them and I can see the saliva begin to run down his chin. I have comfirmation.

SO I bid on this strappy pair of heels on eBay and win the auction. Yay me! I was excited.

They came in the mail. Oh yes! They were just as cute in person as they were in the picture. I thought,"There is no way he will be able to resist my feminine charms in these babies!"

I put them on. They fit!

I stand up. Whew! The air is thin at this height! I take a few tenative steps in these stilts they call shoes. Oh my! This is gonna take some getting used to! So I finish cooking my grilled cheese sandwich looking oh so sassy in my new shoes. My toes were hurting by the time I sat down!

I'm walking just like I was afraid I would. I feel like a complete idiot! I always hated the way my friend walked in heels back in high school. I thought she looked dumb and now I'm doing the same thing! So there you have it. I'm a goober. I'm 34 years old and can't walk in a pair of heels.*sigh*

The good thing about men and heels is that you don't actually have to be able to WALK in them, if you know what I mean.

Bekah- I was just thinking along the same lines....They won't hurt my feet because I'll probably be horizontal when I wear them! I can't believe I just typed that!*blush*

That was totally cute, and totally "oh great one", I'm talking about both the shoes and the post.

That pair of shoes are SO gorgeous and sexy I would totally injure someone for them (not u, :) of course). You have great taste. And I think your husband will love them too.

Okay, here's the thing with heals...you need to find that cute pair that are actually comfortable. Yes, I know this sounds rediculous BUT there really is such a thing. I own multiple pairs. Another good way to start is with the wedge. They are almost ALL comfy and they are like the starter shoe for wearing heals - plus they are like totally in style right now ;O) God I wish I lived closer to you...we would SO be going shopping to get you some hot shoes right now.

Oh...and ALL shoes look hot when you're laying down!

I never understood the fascination in high heels. Now a woman who will cook me grilled cheese is another story. Maybe I'd be thinner if I enjoyed the high heels more though. Oh well, I've gotta go and find soem grilled cheese now.

When I was getting married, my sister wanted to wear heels. Well the problem was is she couldn't walk in heels. Up until the day of the wedding she still stumbled. Then as she walked down the isle ahead of me she walked perfectly. It is a wonder still today.

I don't mind heels so much, if they're short heels, like only 2 inches high. And I only wear them on Sunday with my church clothes. Unless I go to the contemporary service, then I wear sandals with my jeans.

I hate heels. Maybe you could try a pair that isn't quiet so tall. Heels shape the legs and that is why men like them. Have you ever noticed that? Put on a pair of flats and look at your legs, then put on you pair of stilts and see the difference.

I suppose you could put them on and wear them with a black nightie, that way you wouldn't have to wear them that long. Ha Ha.
