A while back my phone service was out. I waited for 2.5 hours then I sent an email (because I couldn't call) to the phone/internet/cable provider. Remember, my PHONE was not working. Here is their reply.

Not only do they instruct me to CALL them about my PHONE problem but then they pimp their website. Whatever. I fixed the problem myself without their help. I must be the last person in the world who doesn't use a cell phone. My husband keeps one for emergencies, but I'm home at home during the day why would I need one? I know where to find him and he knows where to find me!
Oh well. I'm glad blogger finally worked out the kinks this morning. I thought I'd never get to post. I think I'm gonna try switching to beta today. My brother did and he says he likes it much better. If I disappear from the web you'll know I screwed something up!
Update-It seems I can't update to beta. It won't let me. Something about me being too fabulous and the system couldn't take it. Yeah, right. It gave me some line about not ALL blogs could switch yet. Apparently mine is one of the ones that can't. Sheesh.

Nothing like the personal touch when it comes to emails, and that's nothing like the personal touch! I'm glad you got it sorted without having to deal with them, they sound a right clueless bunch.
Please don't go beta. I won't beable to visit or comment. Two of my fav's already went and I can't even say goodbye. My computer crashes and sometimes I can't even reboot.
I didn't think I needed a cell phone either...but now I can't live without it! We have free long distance with them, so thats one less thing on our phone bill. Plus, I can claim mine on our taxes since I use it with babysitting.
In fact, my hubby and I have talked about getting rid of our house phone altogether since we hardly use it.
That's funny, what if your problem is with your internet, and they want you to fix it over the internet.
Glad you got your phone fixed. I was starting to go into withdrawal without you.
I have a beta blogger account. It will be great when they finish testing and fixing it..
Oh, and after I switched to the beta blogger I had to open a non beta blog to comment on regular blogger blogs. How very annoying..
I won't have a cable phone. We want to have a "land" line just in case of emergencies. The cable goes out too easy around here and my husband needs his phone for his business. He simply won't change and I don't blame him. Good luck with yours.
I know several people who switched to beta and they don't like it. Once you have switched, you can't go back. No switching for me.
