My boy has been whiney and needy today. I can't seem to come up with any one topic to write about and my mind is all over the place so we'll just see where this goes.
I don't like to drink the last little bit of milk from the milk jug. I've got this little voice inside my head that says,"It's been in there the longest. It's got to be nasty!"
I baked some Parmesan Herb bread last night. It was my first attempt at a flavored yeast bread. It was very tasty. My house was so fragrant!
Each morning when I get up I think, "I can lay down and take a nap when the boy takes his." Everyday during his naptime I find 10 other things that are more important to do.
Neighbor is annoying me. In the middle of a conversation, more specifically my contributions to the conversation she will start loudly playing with her baby. "Get mamma's nose! Who's my little toot toot?" I want to scream.
Yesterday I watched the yard man, who works for the neighbor across the street, blow lawn clippings and leaves off their driveway. He then proceeded to blow all the crap across the street to my house and my neighbors house. I just swept my crap on Saturday when I mowed our lawn. So while he was still there I went out and swept them back to the middle of the road. If I see him do it again I'm going to sweep them all to the end of their driveway.
CCB had a great time at his game on Sunday. He must have told me a million times since he got back just how much he loves me and that I'm the "best wife ever". I tried to explain that I got something out of it too. I got to see the joy on his face and know that I put it there.
My son is napping. It's time to change the kitty litter. Envy me.

I have neighbors who do the dumping their mess on me thing too.
I usually don't do much about it but one time a guy who used to throw branches into my yard dropped a beer bottle over the fence when he thought I wasn't looking.
I casually walked over to the fence, picked up the bottle and threw it back. It shattered on his patio.
He never threw anything over the fence again, ha,ha..
Are you using a bread machine or do you make your bread from scratch and bake it in bread pans?
Glad CCB had a good time at his game.
H&B- I'm glad you threw it back! I think I'm going to have to be obvious next time.
Lucy- I do it from scratch. I haven't done any yeast bread in pans yet. So far it's been loaves. Except for the whole wheat hamburger buns I made the other night. YUM!
I too hate that last gulp of milk...it tastes weird!
Btw, I'm glad your hubby enjoyed himself at the game...you're such a good wife!!!
I envy your sense of humour :)
I am truly GREEN with envy...ha ha, I see you're in the writing slump too. Just no truly coherent thoughts on my end!
Your neighbor sounds a little nutty.
