We got the heads up on my hubby's bonus. He won't get it till next week. So I'll just go get my gifts now and pay the money back to my credit card company when we get it. I got quite a bit of my shopping done yesterday so sleep came much easier last night. Yes I still got up to pee but there were no wacked out dreams to speak of.
I baked some more cookies. Not for the Mafia this time though. They are fantastically decadent, totally bad for you and worth every minute of prep time! A pound of semi sweet chocolate......Half a cup of cocoa.........Heaven! I have 3 different kinds of cookies stashed in my freezer (spritz,chocolate chip w/peanut butter and oatmeal, and ultimate chocolate) so I can put together a couple of nice cookie trays. I don't have nearly as many to make this year so it should be easy. I think I'm going to try to make fudge wreaths today or tomorrow and Pizzelles are coming soon as well. Enough food talk! I haven't had breakfast yet.
CCB and I are going to try to finish up shopping for the kids tonight. I can't buy for my son when he's with me you know. He's too old for that now. I tried to get him a sit and spin yesterday while he was with me and I nearly went undetected till the conveyor belt at the checkout. He was puzzled to see it there and asked me to play with it for the rest of the day. I left it in the trunk of my car till he was asleep and denied I knew what he was talking about. Let's hope he puts it out of his mind today. Yeah, I doubt that will happen.
CCB won't get off until 7 tonight so shopping will have to be quick. Even an hour or so alone with him will be wonderful. The last time I had alone time with him was when I had the D&C this summer. Not exactly a romantic time by any means.

We still have all of our Christmas shopping to do - I keep putting it off and putting it off. Looks like everyone will be getting giftcards this year.

Glad you are starting to be able to relax. Of course that will only last until you get to the store tonight but you can enjoy the time up to that, ha,ha..

Jeez I wish there was a bonus coming my way. Glad your shopping stress is a bit alleviated though.

gee i wish i could be there to give you a hand - i remember how crazed things were when my guys were little -i hope you can enjoy yourself soon - maybe get that bladder checked - a UTI can be sneaky and drag you down
Kids have very good memories about things like that....Hope you didn't blow it.
My daughter is getting J.J. a "Big Wheel" for Christmas and she had to special order it, you don't see them around much any more.
Your cookies sound wonderful. I still have to make my chocolate chip cookies and the fudge. I made my Gingerbread last week.
