Wow! I just got back from doing my grocery shopping at Walmart. That place was a mad house! I thought that by doing my shopping in the morning I'd have less people to contend with. WRONG. Everyone else thought the same thing. I have to tell you that the people who keep a cheery outlook even when it's crazy can make even the worst trip to the store better. There were a few people that were so sweet and polite that they made me smile and lifted my somewhat sagging spirits. Oh they weren't sagging when I got there, I was singing carols and feeling good. Then the grinchy shoppers appeared. Blocking aisles, and cutting you off. The people who nearly run over your children then look at you like it was YOUR fault. Those are the culprets who dampen the mood.
My poor cashier was feeling stressed because there was no one to replace someones broken eggs. So by the time I got to her I tried to be extra nice. People forget that these people deal with those grinchy shoppers all day! It's Christmas! Peace on earth be nice to sales people time. I know I have complained about rude cashiers before, but I have a soft spot for them at Christmas. They put up with a lot. I guess I just wanted to remind people of that. Not that any one who comes here would be rude I'm just sayin.....
I have one more batch of cookies to make them I'm quittin! So far I've made Pizzelles, chocolate chip/peanut butter/oatmeal, spritz, sugar, chocolate mocha, and russian tea cakes. OH and a fudge wreath. I have to make some for CCB so he will quit eating all the tea cakes so I can put them on trays!
I hope you are all about ready to enjoy your Christmas holiday. I think we could all use a rest!

My gosh you are such a prolific baker!
That Fudge Wreath looks good enough to eat! Oh, it is to eat? Nevermind (he-he).
Hope you and your little elves have a fantastic holiday. Blessings.

ick! went to walmart yesterday. i told my mil i am not going bakc there! i will go somewhere else. its nuts! and poor mil, the day after her car accident, limping her way in that choas was not amusing! she stopped where she could, in the middle of everything, and people were so nice about it, but the throngs of people was just too much for me. plus they don't have any more of what i want! you are a very brave woman!
marry christmas!
