Back at it.

It's back to the grind today. No more sleeping in now that school is back in session. My daughter returned today, she prayed hard for a snow day but we both knew it wasn't happenin'.

My son is doing much better. Thanks for your well wishes. He still has a bit of a cough. It sounds nasty but it isn't as frequent now. His energy is back and making up for lost time.

I've discovered that motherly guilt is a given. You always look back and think,"I shoulda done it this way instead...." I'll share my thoughts on it. I know that I did the best I knew how with the knowledge and the resources that I had. If you can say that then then there should be no need for guilt. Yeah right!

I'm still bagging bag after bag of leaves from trees that aren't in my yard. It's getting old. CCB suggested installing netting from our roof to the fence. Then when it catches the leaves we just go under it and shake them back into the neighbors yard. I laughed at first. Now I'm thinking it wasn't such a silly idea.

We've been in our house for nearly a year now. I am finally getting pictures up on the walls. That is so unlike me. Usually that is the finishing touch on moving in. This time I wanted to change everything, furniture, accessories, and color schemes. I didn't want to put up stuff on the walls until I had all these things taken care of. Finally I realized it was going to take a while to do all that I want so I might as well enjoy my photos now.

Watched "Garden State" the other night. Thought it was great. I'm so behind the times.

I'm sorry if I haven't stopped by your blog recently. I usually rely on blogrolling to tell me when you've updated. According to that no one has updated in over a week. That's what I get huh?! I'll see you soon.

I'm suffering from a lack of focus today. Can you tell?

Have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY!

I'm not a doctor but last time I had a cold a friend of mine told me about "Olive Leaf". You can buy it at the health food store and it will knock out that cold and cough. TF started getting sick on Christmas Eve. I had him take some Olive Leaf, Zinc and Vit. C. He was much better the next day. The Olive Leaf is good for Viral infections. Glad he's feeling better.

I haven't been around the blog scene much in the last week and a half either, too busy. I did go back and read what I missed on your blog.

Sorry about the loud neighbors...we have some too. I just move on the other side of the house to sleep when they are out "partying".

5 1/2 hours of fire works? Yeks!

Happy New Year to you, CB and the kids....
