I feel like it's been ages since I've updated. I really haven't had much to say I guess. Here's some random nuggets to chew on.
It looks like blogger is gonna force us all to switch. When I signed in it said I could go on to my dashboard....only once! Fight the power! Ok maybe that was a little much.
I updated my security software. I've done everything they told me to do in the email. It didn't fix the problem. I waited for online support for 40 minutes to talk with a "technician" . Radhakrishna passed me off to Vijayabharathi and they kept me online for another 45 minutes asking me the same questions over and over. They told me to do the things I've already done. Finally they told me to follow the steps they were laying out. When I did, my computer restarted and I lost my internet connection. I was furious. I just ended up sending another email. Freaks.
I've been doing Pilates every other day for the last 3 weeks. I've almost made it to a month! I think I've figured out why I like it. You sit on your butt most of the time! Still I feel stronger so that counts for something I guess.
I finished another afghan. It's in an ARAN style with cables and diamonds and stuff. I did it in a deep brown and it looks fabulous!
My son thought I was going to make him go to bed the other day and when he saw me he screamed,"MOM you go away!" I told him that he hurt my feelings and he said, "I'm sorry momma, you go way now." At least he didn't scream it.
CCB is supposed to have a 3 day weekend this weekend. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday I'm so excited!
Wish me luck, I'm going to try my hand at a southern dish called Shrimp étouffée. I tried it at a restaurant and enjoyed it. We'll see if I can make it myself. We might be ordering pizza!
Take care all!

Blogger is so darn frustrating. Hope all is well.
Growl I really hate Indian call centres who read from scripts and have no idea what they're talking about. It really gets my goat.
Your shrimp dish sounds lish - I'm intrigued. Do post the recipe.
ha ha, you are cracking me up OGO! I had a similar experience when trying to fix my router a few weeks ago and it was SO frustrating!
I am so impressed that you are making afghans. My grandmother used to make them for us and I still have the one she made me when I was little on my bed now. I love it and it's SO warm!
I can't wait to hear how the etoffee turns out. You're really starting to get into the southern cooking. YUM YUM!
It was good catching up on you---your life sounds pretty good this last little while, except for the technology part. Do you knit or crochet the afghans?
Glad you got your connection back!
Hmm, this pilates of which you speak sounds very promising.
Sitting on my butt during Pilates sounds promising, but I'm assuming there's still some working out to be done. My ideal work out is watching the video and LOSING WEIGHT AT THE SAME TIME without actually moving. Where can I find that?
Excellent post, sis.
Oh sorry I'm anonymous #2. What is it with blogger?!
