Well the Shrimp Etouffee was a bust. It wasn't awful but it just wasn't what I was after. Celery dominated the taste, celery isn't my favorite. I will probably try this again but with a different recipe.
Security programs still aren't fixed.
Worked on taxes the other night. There was a swirl of activity around me. Squealing 2 year old, growling husband, and screeching 10 year old. We bought a bigger house and they still all congregate wherever I am. It's no wonder I missed a step in the process. It's all fixed now. WHEW!
Speaking of taxes. The program I'm using would charge 24.99 for an e-file for our New Mexico return. According to the software we'll only get 6 bucks back. That just doesn't sound worth my while you know?
My son is WAY into robots these days. Today is day 3 of the Wow wow Wubsy play. He calls me Widget (a cartoon rabbit that builds robots) and he is either Wubsy (the rabbits friend) or any one of Widgets robot creations. His birthday is coming up soon. I wonder if I can find any age appropriate robot toys.....hmmm....
Wubsy beckons as I type. It's time to create some more robots. Some one help me!

oh damn! I came over to ask how the etouffe turned out. Sorry it wasn't what you had hoped for. I am getting all of our tax stuff together and DREADING IT! I don't know how to prepare taxes as a married couple, we are going to have to pay someone this year I think and that really sucks!
Maybe I can make you something Robot/boy themed for the boy's b-day. See if there's anything "boyish" on my site that could translate...? I don't think the bags would do it ;O)
I don't like celery at all, so every time I encounter it in a recipe, I think of something else that would be good in it, and I just recopy the recipe as I think it should be. Suits my purposes. Celery is just filler anyway. Completely replaceable. Better luck next time.
Widget...that nickname really suits you. Oh Great Widget - that's got a nice ring to it!
