Resurfacing

Just chillin' with my family this weekend. CCB got most of the day Saturday off as well as Sunday. So you can bet I'm just tickled pink!

We went to Target this afternoon and I used a gift card to purchase the second season of Nip/Tuck. My mom told me about the series and I happened to catch the last half of one of the last episodes of this season. I was hooked! It's so stinkin' twisted that I can't stop watching. CCB gave me the first season on DVD for Christmas and I was nearly finished so I HAD to get the next set. If you haven't seen it I highly recommend it. It's definitely not for children so be warned!

I don't usually like to buy DVD's because once I've seen a movie I don't usually like to watch it again and again. There are only a few exceptions "Dangerous Liaisons", "Rob Roy", "Tombstone", and "Far and Away". (Far and Away is the movie CCB and I watched on our very first date.) I don't mind purchasing childrens movies because they get watched over and over and over and over and over and over.

What movies would you watch over and over?

Ooh there's so many I could watch time and again! I love "Spinal Tap" because I always see something funny I've missed each time I see it (I'm watching it now), "Amelie" for the art direction, "Finding Neverland" because it always makes me cry and "Muriel's Wedding" because it's so feel-good and I love it.

I like watching certain movies over and over again and some of them are: Dave, The American President, National Treasure, Independence Day, Anne of Green Gables, Sleepless in Seattle, Forget Paris, etc.

My husband is standing behind me saying, Guns of Navvarone, Kelly's Heros, Dirty Dozen.....and he's laughing as I type this....I think he's making fun ofme...

I'm the same way...you won't catch me putting too many DVD's back into the player. However, there are several movies that, if I'm flipping through the channels and see one on, I'll stop to watch regardless of how many times I've seen it. Too many to list in fact :)

I can't even believe I'm saying this but I can't watch Nip Tuck anymore because it's gotten too weird/graphic/yucky for me, and that is strange even to me!

There are lots of movies that as a kid/teenager that I watched over and over (16 Candles, Ferris Buellers Day Off, Pretty in Pink, Dirty Dancing, Sound of Music, Wizard of Oz, The Boy Who could Fly, etc, etc). Now a days I just don't have time to watch movies over and over but there are a few that I do watch from time to time because I love them or love how they make me feel. I LOVE all of the Harry Potter movies, I own them and I do watch them again and again. I will probably get made fun of for this one but I like Bridgette Jones Diary. I Would rewatch Little Miss Sunshine, American President, Nemo, Rudy!! (I cry EVERY TIME), footloose...Okay I'm nuts, I guess I do watch movies over again...ha ha
