Aggravation!

I was so ticked off at Fed Ex this weekend! I ordered these little watchmaker cases last week because I want to make a magnetic spice rack to put inside my cabinet door. (It will save me so much room!) I was tracking the package through Fed Ex and on Saturday I logged in to find that they had delivered it to me at 4:34 that afternoon, they never knock they just dump it. So I went out all giddy like a kid to find my package and it wasn't there. I looked every where and NOTHING.

I called Fed Ex and they were going to put a trace on it. Cool. He told me to call back and check on it Sunday or Monday. Well they aren't open on Sunday, freak. So I called today. The lady (who was VERY nice) explained that my office was closed on Monday so she couldn't check up on that trace. I would have to call back on Tuesday. *SIGH* Fine.

A little while later I open the blinds in my front room and what do you think I saw? MY BOX! Now if the office is closed.....They would have had to of delivered it to the wrong address. Someone was nice enough to bring it to me. No note or anything. Maybe I should put a sign outside on the porch saying "Thank you!"

I called Fed Ex and got yet another fabulous operator. She knew who I was (caller I.d.)and we chatted like old friends. They do a great job of hiring those operators I guess!

Now I just need to get the rest of my supplies. Too bad I don't have a car. A huge "thing" hit my husbands windshield leaving it undrivable. So he's got my car. It's driving me crazy not to be able to start my project!

Can you believe you got all the way to the bottom only to find out it wasn't going to get any better than a post about Fed Ex?

Ha ha, you are funny OGO! I'm glad you got your supplies and that someone was nice enough to drop off your package. Don't worry, you'll get started soon even though I know it must be frustrating. Isn't it weird how much we depend on things...like our cars! my hubby's car was in the shop all weekend and we only had one and although we spent most of our time this weekend together when he needed to go somewhere and I was car-less I felt stranded.

I'm gonna go jihad on Circuit City if I don't get my rebates back!

Er ... what was the "thing"?

I always seem to have perpetual problems with getting and receiving mail. It is very frustrating.

Our fed-ex man put's the package on the door step, rings the bell and then bolts to his truck. I usually get to the door about the time he is driving off. I've been told that they do that in neighborhoods where there is less crime. In crime ridden areas, they ring the door bell and wait for someone to answer. I suppose your neighborhood is pretty safe. It was nice that your neighbor brought it over to your house.

You don't realize how much you use your car until you can't drive it.

Maybe your parcel just wanted to go on some adventures of its own before getting to you?
