Not much going on these days. The weather has been beautiful though it's cooler today at 37 degrees. There was a tornado the other night in the New Orleans area. I believe that is the closest I've ever been to something like that. The storm was nasty here but no damage. Just rapid fire lightning, lots of rain and a little hail mixed in for good measure.
The neighbor and I have arranged to exchange child care services this weekend. She keeps asking me if we are still on for the weekend. She's not the one that needs to worry about me following through. She is going out with her husband on Saturday and CCB and I are taking Sunday. I'm looking forward to it but I'm reserved this time. I don't want to be let down again so I haven't even made any plans other than dinner and a movie.
My husband and I haven't had a date since his mother in law was here. That was last JUNE! I was pregnant at the time and felt like barfing the whole time. I really hope this works out. The neighbor and I have talked about doing this once a month but I'm afraid that would be asking too much. We'll see how this goes first.
