Crud foo young!

It's been a little busy this week. Nothing extraordinary just a little this and a little that. On Tuesday night we took our daughter to her schools skate night. We've lived here a year and didn't know that such a fabulous place existed here in our little town. The place had skating, obviously, a ton of climbing tubes that kept my little one occupied, video games, and laser tag! Oh you can believe we'll be taking the kids back there!

On a somewhat related note. I saw a young man paying my daughter a lot of attention. It made me so happy! I've been worried about my daughter making friends and it seems she's not as bad off as I thought. Hurray! The boy was delightful, he has the same name as my daughter! It did my heart good.

CCB and I went out and bought a box spring for our queen sized mattress. We put the mattress in my water bed frame when I was pregnant with my daughter, because I couldn't get in and out of bed. When we bought our house in Colorado the bedroom was too tiny to put a queen size bed as well as dressers in so we downsized to a full size bed. Well in our new home the room is huge in comparison and we decided to break out the bigger mattress. Last night was the first night we've slept on it in ages. It was horrible! There was so much space I kept waking up because I couldn't feel my hubby next to me! I'd slide my foot over and have to keep sliding and sliding till I found him. It was rough! I hope tonight is better.

I saw this link the other day for this " Deathswitch" and thought it was weird. Basically it alerts people of important information upon your death. How does it know you are dead? You have to periodically enter your password to let them know you are alive and kickin. If you don't enter it for a while they contact you if you still don't respond then you set the ball rolling. I'm sure it's more involved than that but that's the basic idea. I don't know it's sorta creepy to me.

I'm exhausted. I'm uninspired for tonight's dinner. It's going to have to be chicken because that's what I have thawing but what sort of chicken I don't know. I'm open to suggestions.

Sure happy it's Thursday!

someone suggested that my hubby and I get a king bed once we re-do our house but he refuses. He says, there is no way I'm sleeping that far away from you. It's cute!

Chicken - how about pounding it out then stuff it with cheese (soft cheese is best like borsin cheese spread) and wrap with bacon? Or you could make mock, breaded chicken strips. You can make a chicken picata with lemon juice, olive oil and capers. Chicken parmesean, BBQ chicken, cubed chicken in pasta w/cream sauce...? Okay, enough. Sorry...good luck with dinner

I once dated a boy with the same name as me also. A bit weird. I also have a best friend with the same name, and that's how we met, although, I don't think we've ever been skating together.
