It's been raining like crazy here. It's raining so hard and fast that the ditches over flowed. (Not many sidewalks in these parts, lots of ditches though.) It didn't look too bad but on the way to the bus stop we found out just how deep it really was. (Sorry honey. I hope your shoes dry out!)
I peeked out the window to see if the garbage men had already come by our house only to see the neighbor wading through the street. The current on the river that used to be our street was carrying her trash cans away. It looks like she is smarter than me because she didn't bother with shoes.
I'm off to finish building my ark. Do you think it'll be able to weather a tornado? The warning goes through 4 am tomorrow. *sigh*

Did you finish your ark? You might need it by the time hurricane season get here. I hope you have flood insurance on your house, it's not that expensive and worth the peach of mind.
