Same ole stuff, different day.

Let's see, what's been going on in my neck of the woods.

CCB had a three day weekend that we didn't expect. His boss told him on Friday that he could have Monday off as well for the holiday. What an unexpected surprise. I could really get used to having him home all the time. I swear I could!

We had to have the clutch repaired in CCB's truck. There goes another 700 dollars. I was really conflicted because we are planning to get a new vehicle soon but I'm not quite prepared to do it right NOW. *sigh* So we just fixed it. It should get us through till we are ready for a new car.

My daughter started summer band practice today. Nothing like the melodious sounds of the "flutaphone"(it sounds like the recorder). Mary had a little lamb is firmly stuck in my head now.

We are gearing up for a trip to Birmingham AL. CCB and I have never taken a vacation just to go someplace new. We've always had family to visit. (I don't count camping as vacation. I love camping, but it's not a vacation in my book.) So we are really looking forward to next week.

Can you believe that my daughter got more "Happy Birthday's" from my blogger friends than from my HUGE family. It makes me sad.

CCB dismantled most of his old blog yesterday. It kinda made me sad. It was kinda like taking a trip down memory lane reading all his old stuff. Don't know why it affected me the way it did. I'm such a girl sometimes!

The vacuum cleaner is calling. I hope you have a fantastic day!

I'm with you on the car pain. Mark's car just had to have the entire freaking computer replaced in it. Yup it was nearly 800 dollars. And the stupid thing was in the shop for a week (!!!) because these morons didn't know what was wrong with it, so we were relying soley on my little car. That sucked!

Whenever the vaccuum cleaner calls me I always hang up on. :-P

that is SO great that you got CCB the WHOLE weekend. I know you both appreciated that.

i HATE spending money on things that we have to - like a clutch on a car - YUCK! Sorry about that

Summer band practice...ahhh, I can only imagine what my parents went through when I took up the violin...screeeech

Vacations are always great. I have never been camping and at this point plan to never start but vacations always rock! hope you guys have an awesome time.

Sad...I'm sorry

Umm, you are a girl.

I love vacuuming :O)

I hate cars for that very reason. You're always putting money in, but it never gives you any in return!

My vacuum cleaned thankfully NEVER calls me.

Have a great vacation.

You should hear some of the names I call the vacuum cleaner back, but this is a family show!

Have a fantastic holiday and tell us all about it when you get back.
