We're baaaack! That sounded way more excited than I am. We had a great trip. The kids had a blast at the amusement and water parks! We were so exhausted by the day we went to the zoo that we were all cranky but it was good none the less.
I learned a few things on this trip. I'll share:
1. Jumping into a swimsuit and walking around in public is a lot harder than it used to be!
2. Sleeping in a hotel sucks. No matter how tired you are.
3. My body doesn't recover from the jerky amusement park rides like it used too.
4. I get really cranky when I'm hot and sweaty.
5. Going to an amusement park with my kids is way different than when I was the kid.
6. Changing from clothes into a swimsuit in the back seat of a car is no easy task!
7. Alabama is beautiful!
8. Quizno's doesn't serve their Southwestern Chicken Corn Chowder anymore! I'm a sad woman.
9. Momma. Momma. Watch this! Momma. Look at me! Momma............Is even MORE aggravating when you are in the car on a long trip. You can't get away!
10. We have to take more "fun" vacations together. We had a blast!
Excuse me. I 'm exhausted. I need a nap.

Welcome back!!!! I am so glad that you had a lovely time in our fair state. It is beautiful if you don't have to live here:)

Doing other things in the back seat of the car is no easy task either at our age *wink* :-)

What about, "Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" We know you heard that one plenty. Glad you are back!
