Remember a while back when I told you that I had called to find out if there was a problem with my state tax return? I asked if I was supposed to wait for some notice so I would know who and where to send the additional info they wanted. They told my my phone call WAS my notice.... Well we faxed them the additional info they asked for and we waited. And waited.
Just before we left for vacation we get this letter in the mail telling us that according to the IRS we listed LA as our home state yet they can't find our tax return. THEY CAN'T FIND MY TAX RETURN. We had to submit the whole thing all over again. I started this process back in February! ARG!!!!!!!

They'd better give you a very good rebate after giving you the runaround like this.

I'm so sorry you are going through this. This is why I procrastinate and send in my taxes in Oct.
