Feeling pretty crappy. I've been nauseous for nearly 2 weeks now. At first I thought it was a bug but when it didn't go away I thought it was nerves. I took a pregnancy test to rule that out even though the nausea started while I was still on my period. (sorry if that's too much info.) I feel full all the time. It feels like there is food sitting right at the back of my throat ready to come up. On the few times I have actually barfed it's just been foam. Probably cuz I can't eat much due to the full feeling.
Why am I telling you this? I am desperate. I've put in a call to my doc but who knows when she'll get back to me. Anybody have this trouble before? My mom directed me to take an antacid and I've done that but it's still too soon to tell. HELP!
Update
DR. MOM prevailed! I took a pepcid on Friday and started feeling a little better. Took one more Saturday and feel even better yet. Not normal but better. I never suspected acid reflux, I was skeptical but tried it anyway because mother usually knows best you know?

Have you tried an online symptom checker like this? Maybe it'll help you narrow down the possibilities...
no help, but I hope you're feeling better soon.
I Love you like mad, lady!
Ginger is supposed to help, but it's never worked on me, but was a great excuse to eat ginger nut biscuits.
I absolutely swear by Gaviscon (I don't know if it's the same in the US), it works by forming a raft on top of your stomach preventing reflux. Ranitidine worked well for me during pregnancy, you can get low dose stuff from pharmacies but the strength you get from the doctor works very well.
You may need to take an antiacid for a few weeks to give your esphagos time to heal...TF is still drinking Yogi Ginger Tea since his surgery to help settle the stomach and it is good for digestion. You can buy it at the grocery store or a health food store.
I'm glad that your mom was able to help you out. Hope you're feeling better.
well, before I read your "update" I was going to say that it sounds like acid reflux. Hope you're feeling better!
