Monday

I SO didn't want the weekend to end. My hunka hunka burnin' love had to go back to work today. My daughter only has one week till school starts. I'm missing them both already and she isn't gone yet!

Still not feeling quite right. Wish I could shake it. I really tend to believe it's just stress or nerves. I wake up with butterflies in my belly. I don't feel AS bad as before but it's still not my normal you know?

CCB made me get a new bathroom scale. He was tired of me complaining about have to take the best 3 out of 5 weights it would give me. It was never the same 2 times in a row! The new one is way more fancy than I need but that's my hubby. I DO believe I've lost some weight though. It's hard to say exactly how much since the other scale was so inaccurate. The doctors scale made me much heavier than the home scale did too. I guess I won't know until I go back to the doc exactly how much I've lost for sure.

My beloved bug man came to spray for pests today. I told him about the ants I'd seen and he confirmed that they were carpenter ants. He said my house is safe unless I have some sort of water leak somewhere. They can only tear up wet wood. SO they took up residence in a tree stump in my yard. He called me over to show me that he'd found their nest. As I watched them come fleeing from their home I stepped back so they wouldn't start climbing on me. Guess where I stepped. Right into a fire ant pile. Now I've got some lovely new ant bites

While I was typing this some punk vandalized my mail box. Put a big hole in the side of it. The kid that witnessed it said a boy rode by on a bike and whacked it with a deer leg. We saw a plastic deer thingy (for target practice perhaps?) out by someones trash on the curb last night on our walk. I'm sure that's where the leg came from but I can't find the kid. *sigh* I gotta get a new mailbox now.
