How bout now?

My son and I were playing a game last night. He'd been rough housing with his daddy and had bonked his head. He came to me and after I gave him his kiss I wrinkled up my face and shook my finger at him in mock anger and said,"NO MORE OWIES! Do you hear me?" He giggled and ran off. That started a string of mock owies and more wagging fingers. It was cute.

A little later my daughter came in and sat next to me on the sofa. My son comes up in an attempt to play the game with my daughter and asks,"Do you have any owies?" She says tells him she does not. So he whacks her on the leg and asks,"Do you have any owies now?"

Where do you suppose he learned that?*grin*

Awwww, that's too cute (although that's not how I'd put it if I were your daughter!)

I love kissing my little girl better when she's had owies :-)

That's great! My son has pretty much outgrown that "innocently cute" stage, but my daughter is entering right into it. They can be so funny!

Indeed a feel good story and more proof that Kids Say The Darndest Things. LOL
