I can't focus on anything for too long tonight I'm tired.

I don't like those blow up Christmas decorations that seem to be all the rage these days. If you enjoy them more power to you but you won't find one in my yard.

Right at this very minute I'm being serenaded by the tune "Santa comes marching in" by my daughter on the Clarinet.

Today I've made pasta from scratch as well as french bread for our Lasagna dinner. It's one of CCB's favorites and since I don't get to see him very much during this season (he has to work a lot) I feel like I have to spoil him when I do have him home.

I dislike peaches. ANYTHING peach. Candy, cobbler, or whatever. BLECH!

Today I raked leaves purely for the exercise of it. I left the leaf blower in the shop so I could burn some butter and work up a sweat. I find some way to work in exercise every day. That is something I never did before. It's really not all that hard and it has really paid off.

I kind of have this thing about keeping our yard nice. I want ours to look the best on the block. I love it when I beat the neighbors to cutting the grass or whatever. It's petty I know, but it's the truth.

I really think that if any of you were to meet me in real life you would be disappointed. Not that I pretend to be anything fantastic on my blog but I really am terribly boring.

My dishwasher kicked the bucket right before Thanksgiving. Even though I do miss the convenience of just dumping things in there after dinner, I like the fact that any time I need something it's clean. It's never waiting in the dishwasher to be washed. Whoda thunk it?

We're not big on the blow up holiday decorations either. The hubby and I got ALL of our outdoor decorations up today/tonight. Both our backs are sore but it was fun - we put the dog on her long tie out cable, turned the christmas music up and worked like little elves. It was awesome. And our yard looks great!

Your dinner sounds so good. I am the same way, I like to spoil my hubby. It's fun to be a great wife, and he does spoil me too.

I LOVE all things peach! HA!

I did the exact same thing the other day. I left the leaf blower in the shed and I raked my little butt off - I even had a nasty blister on my hand to show for it. Then it got windy and rained and you could barely tell I raked...oh well, at least I got exercise!

I agree with the meeting thing. I bet if I met any of my fellow bloggers they would be disappointed. Is that weird for us to think that?

I don't like the blow up decorations, either, because people don't leave them blown up all the time, and during the day when they're deflated it looks like garbage in your yard. Or like Santa was mercilessly gunned down and the eight tiny reindeer were innocent victims.

I hate all things vanilla the way you hate peach.

My neighbor prides himself on getting his yard mowed before everyone else. I hate it, drives me absolutely crazy. Like, dude, can't you wait one extra day? Nope, it's Thursday, gotta mow on Thursday.

Also, has blogger recently changed its commenting form?? Because it no longer gives me the option as typing out my name and URL, just my name. That sucks for those of us who do not use blogger nor use Google.

I'm not a huge fan of blow up decor in general. I like old fashioned lights hung from the rooftop!

Homemade pasta, eh? What time should I be there for dinner? :)

You were very industrious today....I made lazagna for a friend yesterday. His wife had surgery so I took in a meal to him and his son. Today I made spaghetti for us...Yummmm, it was good. I need to get back to making home made bread. I haven't done it in a while and my husband really misses it.

Keep working on that yard....

I have hesitated to mention how much I dislike those blowup ornaments for fear of hurting someone's feelings. You handled it in a nice way and I truly agree. Who ever thought those up to begin with? Big yard balloons! Actually if they were floating in the air instead of sitting in the yards they might be cool.

Those blow up decorations are rather naff, show you're a woman of style and stay well clear!

I love competitions when it's only me who knows it's a competition! It's like me at the swimming pool, I get into a race with the person in the next lane and try to beat them but they don't know it, and I feel really satisfied if I do. Who cares if it's a 90 year old lady and I only beat her by a whisker, but *I* won!!

I don't like the big, inflatable Xmas decorations either. Tacky.

But hey, how can you not like peaches?

"I kind of have this thing about keeping our yard nice. " That's why you don't like those blowup ornaments. I saw one the other day that a person could live in---if it didn't have a blow-up train circling a blow-up tree and a blow-up snowman.

As for boring, why would I check you out every day if that were true? It's my dream to have a big blogger party in a beautiful Ottawa park for all my blogger friends. Will you bring the lasagna?

We have a couple of those inflatable holiday lawn crap things littering our neighborhood as well.
