I feel good! Ba da ba da ba da bam

I have some how managed to LOSE weight over the Thanksgiving holiday. I don't know how. I'm assuming that pumpkin pie is a miracle food. It must have magical weight loss properties because I've had at least a slice a day. Right now I am at the weight I was when I got pregnant with my daughter. I've lost 26 lbs! It's crazy because I knew I was a little over weight but it seems crazy to have lost so much.

I refused to buy new clothes till I reached my goal weight but now that I've reached it I think 5 more lbs is doable. Ha! I guess I'll keep pulling up my baggy pants a little longer. It makes me crazy when we go some place and my clothes look too big. I've never been one to wear tight things but darn it! I've lost some real weight and I want people to see it! I don't want it skin tight, I just want it to flatter my new curves!

My cousin came for a visit this last weekend. We met for lunch at "The Myrtles". It was OH so very tasty. It wasn't a place we would have normally gone to dinner at since we always have munchkins in tow. They weren't all that impressed. The adults all loved it though. I got to try some new southern food I hadn't been able to try yet. I'm getting so adventurous in my old age!

Any who... That's what I've been up to. I hope you all have a fabulous MONDAY!

Don't give away your diet secret. Write your book first on losing weight on a slice of pumpkin pie a day. I'm starting that diet in the morning. Thanks!

Go you! You deserve a whole new wardrobe after that, how did you do it?

It's going to be so much fun when you have to go and buy a whole new wardrobe.

What kind of eating plan were you on? Have fun shopping for new clothes. I'll bet CCB loves his new woman...

I would gladly go to The Myrtles for lunch---if only it wasn't about a thousand miles away. Of course, if i walked, I might be able to get to 5 lbs below my goal weight....

OMG I've missed you! Congratulations on your weight loss. I am so proud of you. I'm at about the same rate. I think I've lost between 25 and 30lb's myself and let me give you a word of advice...don't buy any clothes until you are done losing weight!! I made the mistake of buying new jeans and now, a month later, they are too big already and I have to wear my belt like a freakin homeless person. It's really is disturbing. If everyone could see under my shirt they would see they my belt is literally strangling my pants, it looks quite silly...

NOW, with that said, if you're ready, go buy new clothes. It feels so good to try on those smaller sizes and they look awesome on! I don't wear tight clothes either but you want people to see that you have a shape! And it just feels good to wear things and know that you look good in them.

I too can not believe I had this much weight to lose! It's baffling. At least we didn't look like heffers before we lost the weight, right?

Anyway, Congrats again!!!
