Land of the dancing peeps

Whew! I made it past Monday and before I knew it, it was Wednesday! Yikes! I remember when I used to post every day! What happened to that woman?

I have been amused recently by one more difference I've seen between raising a girl and a boy. I'm sure there will be enough to fill a book by the time they are on their own but for now I marvel at these differences as they arise.

When my daughter potty trained it was pretty straight forward. You climb on the potty. All the "business" happens under you sight unseen. You get down, do the paper work and just like that you're done! With my son it's a different story. He is able to see his handy work and takes great pleasure in entertaining whoever is in the bathroom with him. He swirls the pee in circles he shows us all the bubbles he can stir up. He loves to start and stop the flow. For him it's much more of a production.

I don't remember ever having a "peep" be so fun. Maybe if I were a boy..........

Just wait until he's older (so his bladder is bigger) and you guys can visit Colorado again so he can write his name in the snow!

It is my understanding that boys never outgrow this talent. I'm not sure if I want to know if that's true or not.

Boys (at least mine) also pee on the floor a LOT.

Bekah-His bladder may not be as big as his daddies but that morning pee sounds like a man!

Granny Annie- Time will tell!

My Utopia- I was trying to be tactful *grin*

Franki-Mine will get distracted and turn to speak to me and well when the head turns his whole body turns a little. I'm sure you get my drift...

Until I was about 12 I always tried to completely fill the toilet water with bubbles. Yep, 12... not 32.

Believe me, The fascination never ends!

I don't think boys ever really grow out of that stage, but it sure does stop being cute.

Those boys are the ones that grow you the most grey hair...I want you to look, do you have any little sprigs of grey yet?

I remember those days, so long ago. Now I am helping my daughter to train her kids and it just brings back memories....

Not sure if you get any out there, but just wait until he figures out that he can do it in the SNOW too!

Granny Annie is right...we never outgrow the talent :)

I've recently found out that potty training a girl is SOOOOO much easier!

Tim- Yeah, I've never seen my husband do it either so it's all new to me.

Preposterous-*sigh* You males get all the fun.

Jay- Alot of things stop being cute!

Lucy-Oh I have grey hair already! Plenty of it!

TechyMike- I'm sure his daddy will teach him the fine art of outdoor peeing!

Yeah, it's like your own little fire hose.

I remember when I used to post every day, too. But then I realize that less is more.
