I found the instructions to make a beaded covering for ornaments in the newspaper way back in November of 2003. I finally got motivated to do it this year. I think it's lovely! I didn't put on the fringe that the sample had because I didn't have any good beads to do it but I'm pretty pleased anyway.I got the lights up on the house today. The weather was perfect for doing the job. It never fails though I beat my hands up something fierce putting up Christmas lights. I'm hoping CCB will be surprised when he comes home.

I used to love working with beads, but between my eyes and my knobbly fingers, there's been a lot of frustration lately. I do love that cover, good choice.

The hubby is off work today and we're putting up all of the outdoor lights and decorations. I have most of my stuff up in the house - my mantle and stockings look so pretty and festive! And we're going to cut down trees with our bro and sis in law this weekend! Yayy.
