Geez! It's Friday? Already?

This week seems to have flown by! Unfortunately I have no one thing of merit to share so it's more random stuff for you.

I've varnished the base and the feet of my ottoman. I used a one step stain/varnish product. It works very well but I think the base needs a 3rd coat. It just doesn't look as dark as I wanted it to. I took pictures to document. I thought that was a terrific idea!

My backache is getting a little better. It's still a pain in the butt but nothing I can't handle. GET IT? PAIN IN THE BUTT?! Ha! Ha! Sorry. I'm a little punchy I haven't slept well all week.

My little man has had a string of bad dreams over the past 3 nights. In one I told him it was time to leave the McDonald's play land. I wish my bad dreams were so tame! It breaks my heart to see him wake up with big ole crocodile tears though.

My daughter brought home her report card today. 4 A's and 3 B's. I'm so proud!

We went to the zoo today. I don't know why I feel like the animals will respond to me if I talk sweet to them. They never do. It doesn't stop me from talking to them though.

We took my daughter to get her eyes checked at Americas Best Eyeglasses and contacts last week. For 70 bucks she got an exam and TWO sets of glasses! I kept waiting and asking for the catch but there hasn't been one yet. The deal won't work for kids over 13 though. I thought I'd throw that out there for you parents out there.

My eyes are tired, I'm signing off. Take care and have a great weekend!

Well, our 13 year old grandson who is IN LOVE did manage to bring his grades up before the sememster end -- Thank God! Oh, these kids!

Say, do you have information on Sprinkleshouse that I don't. She sure disappeared on us again didn't she?

Happy Weekened to you!

I can't wait to see the ottoman pics. That's so neat.

Awesome about your daughter's grades. I wish my nightmares were that tame, too. And, yeah, I always talk sweet to the animals at the zoo. Doesn't make any sense but I also can't see a dog without making a really annoying high-pitched puppy wuppy is a cutie wootie noise at them.

Those big old crocodile tears get to me everytime. It breaks my heart when my baby cries.
