Well, it's Wednesday. That's all I've got to say about that.
I'm back on track with my weight loss. After I made my grand announcement about hitting the 30 lbs lost mark I gained like 9 lbs back. I've refocused and just short of that thirty lbs again. I probably just jinxed my self. Dang it.
My son is closing in on his birthday. I have banned all talk of birthday's,gifts, and celebrations. He has no concept of days and weeks yet. He has been making me bonkers with questions about the whole thing. So now, I just plan on surprising him on the big day. It might just save my sanity.
Some of our family is coming to visit soon. I'm excited about that. It's the first time they will see our new home and their first visit to Louisiana. I'm always a little nervous when we get visitors. I want so bad for them to have an enjoyable time since they came so far to be with us.
My Japanese Magnolia tree is blooming. It's beautiful. The tree doesn't have a leaf on it but it has these lovely purple flowers on the end of each branch. I gotta post a picture of it.
I think we have escaped the threat of lice. No one has itched. No bugs discovered. WHEW!
We tried some garlic chipotle salmon last night for dinner. I served it with some seasoned roasted potatoes. It was divine. I wish my kids liked salmon. I'd eat it a lot more often if I didn't have to make an alternative meal for them each time we had it.
CCB has the weekend off. I can't explain how different life is around here when he gets two days off each week. If you have always had it I don't know if you can appreciate it. It's opened up a whole new set of possibilities. It's good to see my husbands handsome face more often too!
Have a great day!

That salmon dinner sounds great. My son loves salmon, especially smoked, but my wife can't stand even the smell of fish, so I rarely get to eat it. Maybe someday :)
I wish I could get back on track with my weight loss. I know, I know, it's just a matter of wanting it enough.
Why are you making an alternative meal for the kids when you eat Salmon? They will never learn to eat it if you keep feeding them something else. Try fixing it and if they don't eat it, let them eat the veggies and other items. After a little bit of time they will try it again and probably like it.
I know you are glad tht CCB is home with you for two whole days, enjoy it while you can ladybug. Enjoy your company and just relax, I know you will have everything under control.
You're lucky escaping lice, we're in the throes of a bedbug infestation. It's like the old testament in our household at the moment!
Salmon....mmmmmmmm. Roasted potatoes....double mmmmmmm. Do agree with lucy though....if your babies don't want the fish, let 'em eat the vegetables. (My boys hate fish too!) They'll get hungry enough to eat it eventually;)
good for you!!! I hope some of these baby pounds shed soon!
mmm the dinner sounds YUUUMMMY! glad you escaped the lice threat! HA...
I am so proud of you with the weight loss. That is such a great accomplishment OGO! Keep up the good work.
