CCB is home from work AGAIN today. He woke up with lot's of phlegm and felt dizzy. When I got back from the bus stop he was wrapped up in our bed saying he was feverish. This thing just isn't letting him go. He's at the doctors right now. I don't know that there is anything they can do for him but at least his boss will know he isn't faking it!
I really thought that after my sons fever was gone I could get a good nights rest. WRONG. I checked on him before I went to bed and he felt a little sweaty so I pulled back his blanket. Then I worried he'd get too cold so I had to go back around 1:30 this morning to check him and pull that blanket back up. There was a trip to the potty and I heard my husband hacking all night. OH!I can't forget the sweet invitation I got from my son at 5 am to come and snuggle with him. *sigh* I just wanna sleep is that so wrong?
My eating has been out of control this week. I guess maybe that means I eat when I'm stressed huh? Ha! I have to really watch myself, I've been snarfing all day long. I went to the store and stood in the snack cake aisle and fondled all the boxes. To my credit I left without buying any but the visions of sitting in the car and choking back every last one of them was pretty tempting. It feels so strange to have all these urges popping up. I'm trying. Perhaps when my peeps are all healthy again the urges will leave and I can get back to normal.
I'm going to try to get to the grocery store today. If my hubby can handle things for an hour or so. I liked Lucy's clorox clean up idea. It would be more effective to wipe down all those things my family has touched than to spray them with lysol. We'll see.
Sorry about all the sick posts. It dominates my world this week so that's all I got. My eyes are bleary now and I need more coffee. Have a good weekend everyone stay healthy! You know how I worry. *wink*
Update:
The doctor said he thinks it's pneumonia. I'm glad he went to the doctor.

hang in there....
Here's hoping your family gets healthy and stays that way for the rest of the year.
Scarf away. Winter is the time for that!
He "thinks" it phemonia? Is this the same doctor that wouldn't call back? Hummmmm......
One more thing, and you can find it at the health food stote, Olive Leaf. It is great a getting rid of chest congestion and a cough...A friend of mine told me about it a couple of years ago and I tried it and it worked. See if you can find some for CCB....
If the doctor puts him on antibotics, get him on some garlic pills, I'm telling you it will help.
Dear OGO, when you get those Clorox wipes, go back to the snack cake boxes that you fondled and wipe them down would you please? LOL
Bless your heart and your husband's and your sons. At least now you have a treatable diagnosis for hubby.
Boy when it rains it pours huh? Blessings to you alllll and don't be hard on yourself for stress eating this week. It's hard to focus on much of anything when you're worried about your family. And I know from personal experience how soothing the taste of Twinkies are during a crisis.;)
Keep your head up and rest when you can. This too shall pass...sooner or later.:)
((((((Hugs)))))) :)
Well if it's pneumonia then he's pretty sick. Keep a close eye on him.
I hope all are healthier soon!
Hope your family is feeling better today.
My family too has been sick then better then sick again and like, in bed, wrapped up, can't get up kind of sick! I am just very fortunate that I didn't get it again. Once was enough for me!
I hope they're all feeling better soon. Hang in there OGO, and hey, every now and then it's okay to splurge on some junk food, as long as it's not all the time and doesn't ruin your hard work losing all that weight. I mean, it's not good to torture yourself if you want something sweet/junky every now and then!
I hope you all get better soon or that snack cake will need to be fondled again & soon!
