I've got spring fever. We had a few really nice days and I was able to get out and do some yard work. Then it got a little chilly and it's making me crazy! I bought these HUGE hanging baskets of petunias for my front porch but I've been afraid to put them out because it's been a little too cold at night. The deal was too good to pass up. I HAD to get the flowers I HAD to! (That's my story and I'm sticking to it.)
It's amazing what one day can do. Ever since his birthday my son has been really asserting himself as a big boy. He's doing things he refused to do before. It's good for the most part. I'm gonna miss my little boy though. *sniff*
My weight is all over the place! I woke up yesterday with my lowest weight yet. By bedtime my scale had me at 11 lbs heavier! This morning I weighed myself and I was heavier than yesterday morning but lighter than last night. ARG! I'm guessing it's water weight but that's some pretty wild fluctuations don't you think? Sorry. I"m sure you are getting tired of the weight talk. It's just such a big thing in my life right now. I've proud of how far I've come but would like to do just a little more. Hang in there with me. Please?
If you don't have anything nice to say you shouldn't say it at all, so I'm done.

Weigh yourself only one time a day and do it at the same time everyday. That is what they told us to do at weigh watchers, otherwise you will go crazy with the differences.
Glad to hear that your little boy is becoming a big boy...
It's been beautiful around here too. Yesterday I got out and trimmed the wax leaf lugustrium and cut back the crape myrtles before it is too late. We have a beautiful, clear sky right now. We have had a lot of rain and my yard is "squishy" so I have to be careful how I walk in it. Yes, spring is around the corner.
The weather has been teasing us here for some time. It will be in the 60's one day and in the 30's the next...so I guess I'll wait until mid March for my spring cleaning!
That is such a bittersweet feeling when your "little boys" start becoming "big boys". You want them to grow up....just a little slower:)
You should only weigh yourself once a week, because it fluctuates too much to be a completely accurate record of weight gain/loss during the day. And you should do it in the morning, right after you get up, and completely nekked. :-)

Sprinkle-I'm struggling with my little guy growing up. It is indeed bittersweet.
Bekah- You probably won't read this because you are going on vacation you lucky gangsta chick. I can't stay off the scale for a week at a time! I weigh myself naked each morning but I'm going to try to skip the night time weigh ins. It helps keep me on track.

Yup, Lucy is right. Weigh yourself first thing in the morning and stick with that. They say your morning weight is your true weight.
I can't believe that you actually have nice weather. It feels like such a thing has ceased to exist.
We do our weigh ins strictly on Monday mornings. That's it. Too often is not good for the psyche I think.
How did I miss that you are going on vacation? And as for spring (hah!!), you should see what Jay and I have to put up with!
It is BEAUTIFUL here today! Close to 70 degrees and sunny. I'm sure it will be about 35 degrees by the end of the week and that totally bums me out! But today is so nice and so Spring Fever inducing!
About your weight...STOP WEIGHING YOURSELF EVERY DAY! You're gonna drive yourself nuts. You are only supposed to weigh yourself once a week because of the fluctuation our bodies go through due to water, etc. Pick a day and time and weigh yourself then EVERY week. I know it's hard to do but you have to for your sanity!!!
