I'm here with my fingers on my keyboard but no real idea what to write. I'm feeling a little overwhelmed at the moment. Like I could cry at any minute. I'm not entirely sure why. Perhaps it's all the financial surprises we've had pop up in the last month or so. Perhaps it's that my cat is skin and bones and sleeping in my bathtub with snot oozing from his nose. Perhaps it's that I have a sore throat and feel tired. Perhaps it is the fact that my coffee maker broke this morning. Perhaps it's that my hubby has to work 6 days, 6 longer than normal days this week.
I should be running around getting things ready for my brother and sister-in-laws visit. I'm oh so excited to see them. They should be here some time on Saturday. Instead I sit here typing boo hooey crap. What's wrong with me? We will have such a wonderful time with them I know it. Then I'll bawl when they leave. *sigh* I can be such a GIRL sometimes. ;)
Eh. This too shall pass right?

Ummmmm......just a guess here....perhaps it's STRESS? Listen, this is what you need to do: Break out a copy of "It's A
Wonderful Life", watch it, bawl like a calf that has lost its way home, make a cup of hot tea and you will feel soooooooo much better. I promise you will. I'll even send you an extra box of tissues:)
Or at the very least, take a very long bubble bath with LOTS of Calgon.
Prayers headed your way!:)
*big hugs* Wish I were a few thousand miles closer so we could have a coffee and a chat.
Don't worry about getting things ready for your family - they're coming to see you, not the house and what a fabulous cleaner you are. So sit and boo hooey all you like 'cos I for one love reading it!!
Of course it will pass, but you are in serious need of a hug, and I just wish I could stroll over (with some good coffee) and help you destress a bit. Turn on some good tunes!
Well, I hope your kittie gets better....I know that garlic capsules will help kill bacteria in humans but I don't know if it will work for cats....I hope she gets better, but if she doesn't, you have had 16 years with her. I am a cat lover too and it nearly kills me when you lose one of our cats. It has been about 9 months now since our "Andie" disappeared. I looked for her everywhere and couldn't find her. To this day I keep my eye open for Andie. She was old and my husband thinks she went away to die....It is so sad.
Drink some hot tea and try not to cry....We all go thru these phases but life goes on.....Good luck!
OMG OGO, I'm so sorry to hear about your cat. I hope he gets better soon. Sometimes I don't know if it's harder to have them for a lot of years or not as many. Either way we love them to death and they love us so unconditionally that it just hurts a lot to see them in any pain. I mean, he was your first child. You don't want any of your children to be in pain!
I hope you cheer up a little soon. If it's nice out, perhaps you can go do some gardening or take a nice walk to relax a little. Don't worry, everything will be okay and your visit with your family is going to be FABULOUS! Don't think about when they leave, concentrate on all the fun you'll have while they're there!!!
