Pinchin' pennies

I will admit that I can be a tight wad. I like a good deal. So in these days when gas costs an arm and a leg, and food costs are following suit, you can bet I was happy to find this great deal. CCB takes Lipitor and even with our insurance it was costing me nearly 40 dollars a pop. Sooooo I went to the Lipitor website and guess what I found? A coupon for a free month of the meds. OH WAIT! THERE'S MORE! In addition to the coupon I signed up for a co-pay card. Each time I get his prescription refilled I present that card and it pays part of my co-pay! It knocked off 18.71 off the price! All for free! The card is good for 12 months! That's $224.52 worth of savings! Woo hoo!

Just thought I'd share that with you all. It would be a shame to keep this to myself.

Way to go girl! Good work on checking things out. Have you tried Costco in filling his prescriptions? They are usually cheaper than anyone else and with your coupon you might get it down even more.

WOW! That's a great deal. I love when I find deals/coupons like that. Good investigating on your part. Another "prescription" savings that I've found is Costco. Not sure if you have one by you, but that's where I get my prescriptions filled and they are cheaper than the other pharmacies. A LOT cheaper!

Oooh good on you for getting a bargain! My free prescription entitlement for maternity runs out on 3 July, so back to paying $15 an item, better be sick quickly!

I bought a gorgeous silk dress for $90, reduced from $300 and another reduced to $30 from $240so it's bargains all round - go us!

Sorry the last one should have been $60, it's 2 dollars to the pound. Now that would have been a bargain!
