Was that really a weekend?

I can't believe the weekend is over. I'm not sure it ever really began. It was just like most days except my daughter didn't have to go to school. I still did laundry. I still mowed the lawn and raked up 8 bags of leaves. Ok. So I loved working out in the yard, the weather was fantastic. Other than that is was blah.

Everyone in my house has some form of "crud". I feel good except for the chest congestion. My daughter just has a drippy nose. My husband hacks up a lung every night as does my son. Last night I laid next to my hubby listening to him cough. I can't tell you how many times he woke me up. If it wasn't him it was my son through the baby monitor. ARG! Finally they both settled down, but then CCB started snoring! Now usually I would nudge him or lightly touch his mouth and he would stop. Last night though, I didn't want to mess with him for fear it would start him on the coughing jags again. Instead around 3 am I headed to the sofa. I can't tell you how quiet it was! I don't think I have ever slept so good on the sofa! I just wish I'd done it sooner. 3 hours is not enough sleep!

That crud has been making it's way around! I'm just finally getting rid of my cough that I came down with Easter weekend. My wife had some similar crud, and a few of my coworkers have it too. I just hope I can avoid it if it comes back around! "Get Well" wishes to all of your family!

I'm sorry to read that your family is sick. Here's hoping you don't get it, too.

And you're right. Three hours is NEVER enough sleep.

1. Your "fluff" post - I can't believe it either! 16 years? How is that even possible?

2. Yeah, sorry your weekend zipped right by...if it's any comfort, mine went right along with it.

It does seem that your family has had your fair share of illness lately. Ron and I have managed to remain fairly bug free with minor bouts of 24 hour stuff. It is unbelievable all the outbreaks of flu around us.

I am the snorer in our family and so far Ron has not gone to the couch or guest bedroom. I wouldn't blame him if he did.

You sure need your rest to take care of everyone else so get some sleep!

I hope when everyone gets better they just allow you to have a "day of sleep" to make up for what you missed!:)

Feel better all of you!:)
