It seems like my posts are getting more and more infrequent doesn't it? I'll try to do better. *wink*
Let's see, what has been going on around here....My brother and his lovely fiance had business in Baton Rouge so they came and visited us. It was a very short visit but it was fantastic! I really like his wife to be. I think we'll get along great. I can't even tell you how wonderful it was to see my brother playing cars with my son. It just made my heart get all gooey inside. He also boosted my daughters confidence with all his support of her creative endeavours. (I love him for that!) It's been 2 years since we have seen each other so it was way over due! We all enjoyed it thoroughly and can't wait to do it again.
I haven't gotten back to finish the laundry room. I got the extender pole to reach the ceiling and a brush for the trim but CCB had a 3 day weekend so of course none of my projects got done. We did however, have a camp out in the backyard. We set up the tent and the whole nine yards. I didn't realize how loud the frogs were around here at night! We also had a water fight the next day. I don't know why but the one person who was the sweetest to everyone (ME) ended up the most wet out of us all. I don't think I'll be so sweet next time! *wink*
Eh. That's about it. I'm just hanging out doing the domestic goddess thing. I hope you all are having a good week.

Dear Domestic Goddess: how can I sign up? I seem to be doing the Lowly Malingerer thing lately.
Camping out in the backyard sounds like SO much fun! If I could just talk Grover into it...I'm not sleeping out back with the boys without him (ya know...for bug killin' and stuff:))
You(and me..... and all the others in Blogland) get sparse on the posting in warm weather. Must be all that fun outdoor stuff huh? Well, and in your case CCB's long weekends;)
It's been a while since I've been winked at...thanks for doing it twice ; )
Glad you had a nice visit with your brother...I should really call mine soon.
I had a blast seeing you too! And you know Christina loved you guys.
I'm still going through CCB's poetry. Dude's got some wicked serious words, yo. I'm also going to try to find a frame for T's comic strip. Sounds sweet, doesn't it? Nope. Just preserving my investment.
Anyhoo ... next time we come out I want some of your famous home cooking. Don's was awesome, but I wanna see what YOU can do.
Muah!
Sounds like things are going well and you are keeping busy!
