It's time for an upbeat post.

Ok. So today I'm in a better state of mind. I figure I've managed every other medical thing thrown at me this will be no different. Screw you "nodules" you're going down.

Took my daughter to the orthodontist yesterday. It looks like she'll be in braces this summer. We have a baby tooth we have to pull first. Joy. I'm not looking forward to nagging her about keeping those brackets clean. I have a feeling he's gonna be pricey. Why? Because they have video games in the lobby, EVERYTHING has his name on it. He gives away fresh baked cookies and water bottles with his own labels on them, and he gives away prizes like X-box 360's. A fun doc indeed but at what cost?!? *wink*

My dishwasher is no broken. In addition to my vacuum. Did I mention that my odd sized blinds in the front room broke right in the middle? Yeah, can't find a replacement in the correct size right off the shelf either. Don't forget I have both vehicles to repair as well. When it rains it pours right? *sigh* Is there a repairman in the house?

I went to see a local production of DRACULA last night. It was fantastic! Neighbor and I went and we had fun. We realized that we are pretty lame and that we had WAY too much time to fill. We just meandered till the play started at 11pm and we were afraid we'd run out of things to do and places to go since everything closed way before that. I'm easy to please though and just getting out and having fun was just what I needed to reset my mood. We got home right around 1:30 am and wouldn't you know it, my sweet CCB opened the front door before I could get my key in the lock. He waited up to see that I was safe. (My family seemed a little disoriented with their dear ole ma gone.)

I've been running on 4 hours sleep and I'm surprised at how much I've accomplished today. I hope that continues through our evenings Halloween festivities. I think it's gonna be a long day.

I was flipping through the channels this morning because I love to see the costumes they do on the morning shows the come up with some good ones you know. ANYWAY a guy was asking all these little kids (they looked to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 8-10yrs old) what they were supposed to be and do you believe there was a GEISHA? OH! And a FRENCH MAID! I couldn't believe it! I couldn't believe that their parents let them do that! Oh I could rant about this one but I've rambled long enough.

Have a Happy and SAFE Halloween!

Nodules on your thyroid?...I think I would call back and ask to speak to the doctor, in person.... Demand it if you have to.

Yes, when it rains, it pours... Last year, when TF had his gallbladder taken out, we had to replace the Freezer, dish washer and the washer all at once. Thankfully, Home Depot had a sale and we were able to purchase them and put them on an account with no interest and no payment for one year. We got them paid off within the year and that was done....Of course no sooner, did I pay off that batch of appliance, our refrigator went out. I just paid that off last week and I'm keeping my fingers crossed.....lol

It is fun to have a "ladies" night out every so often. Several weeks ago, Bonnie and I went to watch the "So You Think You Can Dance" group do their thing. We had so much fun that I think we will make it an annual event. Bonnie got me hooked on that show last year and I look forward to watching it.

Last night, Halloween, we had two Dorothy's from the wizzard of Oz come to our door. We also had a "french maid" come too.....Hummmm! My husband was shocked when he opened the door. She looked to be about 12 years old and her dad was outside taking pictures of her as she trick or treated....

Do you have another orthodontist in town? Certainly there must be some kind of competition there? Have a great week.

Hope you're feeling okay OGO. I hope you get a nurse or someone who knows what they're talking about to explain better what's going on with you.

Hope you and the fam had a great Halloween!
