Well let's see my hubby DIDN'T get the weekend off. Have I ever mentioned how much I dislike CCB's boss? RRR!
My in laws were later than expected and the waiting nearly killed us!
I still get my kids home all week and I'll be sad to send them back to school.
Shoulda got to sleep in all week but the guilt I feel over my sweet husband dragging his tush out of bed and off to work was too much. I wake up when his alarm goes off then I doze through his shower. When he's ready to go I can't fall back to sleep. It's annoying.
I got to host Thanksgiving for my family and my in laws. I got everything done promptly at 12. I was pleased! I tried a little something different with my turkey this year. I injected it with a butter creole mixture. I didn't use enough you could get the flavor sometimes but it wasn't consistent throughout the bird. I've still got the injector though so I'll be practicing!
I wasn't online much. My husband and my father in-law tore this computer apart! My f-i-l used some google software to run a scan on my system. It found over 500 "infections" . Yeah, that makes me angry since I've been paying NORTON to keep my system clear.
After the turkey was all put away and the dishes were done. My mother in law and I started putting up Christmas decorations. Decorating for Christmas is always something we did together when we lived in the same town. It's nice to have that tradition live on even though we are miles and miles apart. Now I just have to clean up the mess and the totes so the "Christmas splendor" will be unblemished. Ha ha ha!
I hope you all had a fantastic holiday and your week is going well. If you braved the retail world this morning then you are more brave than I can ever hope to be.

I was so tired after Thanksgiving Day that I slept till 9:00am. I was up for a couple of hours and back to bed around noon and I slept till 4:00pm. I decided to go to Home Depot and Office Depot for a few things and then home. I promised Jennifer that I would watch the grandkids and they were at the house when I got home....
Glad you had a great time with your in laws and that dinner was good. Sorry that CCB had to work! Bummer.....
I am sad that CCB had to work. My daughter brought her children but her husband was on call and could not join us. We are all thinking about putting out a hit on his boss. We'll refer our guy to get CCB's boss too if he's any good:)
