Well, they filled the position in Baton Rouge with someone from Alabama. None of the new assistants are ready to fill it so there was no spots open for my guy. That's OK. He still has a job he loves in a place he loves.
We got a call from another head hunter for a company he used to work for. The last head hunter for them told CCB they couldn't hire back previous employees. It didn't make sense but whattaya gonna do? The NEW head hunter said that wasn't true and wanted to talk to CCB about a job. Thing is, they pay less than what he's making now. Which was a pay cut from what he used to make. I don't think we could go that low and get by.
Truth be told I think we are where we're supposed to be. I think we just need to be patient and things will fall in line. It was the possibilities of these other positions that were muddying the water for me. I'm believing that God has a plan we just need to be still and wait.

Tried to type something wise, but I'm not very wise so it sounded rubbish, except to say if you're happy with how things are there's no point changing. There - that's the wisest thing I've said all year!

I;m with you OGO. I feel like there is a bigger plan and it all falls into place. Everything happens for a reason and I think the right things will happen naturally. I'm glad you are being so positive even though this could be a very frustrating time. Hang in there!
