I saw something that really upset me today. We were leaving Best Buy and while my husband was strapping my son into his car seat I heard someone yelling and they were angry. I looked up and saw that some punk-@#$ kid had stopped his car got out and was yelling at some old man. Let me explain this a little better. The parking lot had several strange angled rows in it and this older man had been waiting for a big ole truck to back out of it's space so he could pull in. When the truck pulled out he started to pull in. That's when the punk pulled up he blocked the older gentleman's path with his car and got out. I heard him say,"You gonna cut me off when I'm going straight?! I'll kill you old man!"
I started to get out of my car so he could see that he was being watched. I thought the old man might need a witness or something if the escalated any more. I was struck with fear though. I was afraid if he saw me he might just start @#$% with me too. Who knows what this guy was capable of if he was gonna get all bent out of shape about something so minor? I was disappointed in myself but more than anything I was disgusted by this mans behavior. It's funny how somethings can affect us isn't it?
I would have drawn y'all (I'm a Loooosianian now I better get with the program!) a really nice picture to illustrate my story but I'm still not on my computer. We close on Tuesday at 10am! We won't get our stuff from the moving company until Wednesday though. *sigh*

Good for you! And smart for you for being frightened. There are way too many ways to get hurt these days.
He's the kind of guy who will have a heart attack by thirty. That really sucks.
It's too bad that we have to be afraid to help. We do. But it's too bad..
I would have goten the store security to handle it.

that is absolutely crazy! We truly do not respect our elders in this country as we should. In other countries, being old is so revered and the elderly are often taken care of the best...
but this is not JUST a respect your elders situation--this is a respect ANYONE situation...that kid had no right to say what he did and do what he did to anyone! Crazy!
