What the?

Greetings and Salutations! I can't tell you how good it feels to be back online. Not just because blogging is like an addiction. (I really think it is you know.) More than that it feels normal. We have been in such an abnormal state for the last month it was really starting to get to me.

Trying to maintain some sort of routine for my kids wasn't so easy in the hotel. My son needed to go to bed earlier than the rest of us but when we went to bed early we all just layed there in the dark. So I tried to compromise and let him stay up a little later and we went to bed a little earlier. It was ok, I guess. My son always seemed tired though. He would fall asleep in the car when I picked his sister up from school and then I'd transfer him to his bed. That was the best way to get him to take a nap. The other option was to put him in bed and then we'd hide in between the beds till he went to sleep. Not fun.

I am probably the last person on the planet not to use a cell phone. At least not on the regular basis. We have a prepaid one that we use when we travel but that is it. (I don't want one but that should probably be a whole other post.:)) So I used a phone card (my grandmother would be so proud!) So although I could call I limited my calls to important things. The computer was public so I didn't want to hog all the time. Although I did have an interesting conversation with someone who popped up on instant messenger. He thought I was someone else. He he that was fun.

With all this new found freedom in my grasp you can imagine how ticked off I was this morning when my computer started screwing up. I tried to renew our internet security software and all of a sudden I couldn't even access the net! I was livid! I think I got the kinks ironed out now though. My husband asked me why I was stressed (he knew because I was using language I don't evah use!) That is when I told him about the computer and the fact that the mechanic wants 459.00 to fix his truck!

Wow I can't believe how this post has gone off track. I guess I'm a little distracted. Better luck next time.

hotel living is no fun. My daughter travels a lot for her job and she lives out of her suitcase. I don't know how she does it.

Glad you are back!
