Bits and pieces

Is it Wednesday already? We're on the downhill side of this week! Woo hoo! My dear CCB is off this weekend so you better believe I'm stoked. Did I just say stoked? Not a lot going on around here today. Painting my daughters room has become painstakingly slow. I refuse to give myself the the added trouble of painting with my 2 year old hanging around, so I only work on it when he is napping. I'm on the down hill side of that project too!

Speaking of projects I found a cool site for women who like to Do It Yourself. Keep your minds out of the gutters people! Check it out if you enjoy home improvement projects.

My FIL is doing well. I finally got to talk to him yesterday. He is a little sore. His biggest complaint is his bladder but when the swelling goes down that should return to normal. Thank you for all your well wishes it's great to have such great people pulling for him/us.

I'm trying to include more calcium/dairy in my diet. It is supposed to help with weight loss. 3 servings a day is what I read that we needed to aid in shedding pounds. SOOOOO I've started making latte's in the morning! I'm not so sure that is what they had in mind for dairy but the way I see it. Coffee has health benefits if you don't over do it and I'm having 3/4 cup of milk with each cup I make which is 3/4 cup more than I was drinking before.

Flavor FLAV chose Hoops! Yippee! I'm pleased to say the least. NY was a psycho. I know they do some creative editing with these "reality" shows to make it more interesting but I don't care how you cut it she is a weirdo stalker chick! I can't wait for the reunion show! It looks like she gets right down ugly (can she get any worse?).

I imagine that is enough for today. I don't have a lot to say about anything this morning so you just got bits and pieces!

I have added yogart to my diet to get more calcium. I'm not sure mixing milk with coffee is a good idea, each to his own on this one.
I've started drinking one of my Hot Metabolism Drinks in the morning and it really gets me going. I seem to have more energy and much more alert.

Yeah- lowfat dairy is supposed to help. Add some whole grains to that (100% whole wheat bread does it) and you are on your way, girl! Or... whole grain cereal with milk! Ha, I am a genius aren't I?

Love the link, working in building/housing I'm always amazed by how many women I know don't even know how to fix a blown fuse, even with those nice easy circuit breaker RCD things!

I never knew dairy was a way of losing weight, much nicer than cabbage soup/fAtkins etc and doesn't make you fart/have BO!
