I gotta get busy!

To Do List: (In no particular order)

Update our new home. Our house is in great shape and is just about everything I wanted. It just needs to be updated a little. Some of the things in here are quite "dated". Nothing crazy it just needs to reflect me and CCB.

Get current. Sometimes I am ashamed of myself for not being as well informed on events that shape our world. The t.v. is usually on cartoons or some Disney movie during the day and when I get on the computer what do you think I do? You guessed it. I'm blogging. I need to make more of an effort.

Read. I love to read. Or at least I used to. I can't tell you when the last time I read an adult book from cover to cover was. The works I have been reading are limited to children's board books and books about cap stealing monkeys. Unfortunately reading for me (these days) is getting to get an article or two out of a magazine. I want to read some of the classics. I WANT to be well read. Again, I think I need to make more of an effort.

Get fit. Notice I didn't say get skinny. I think as a 34 year old woman with 2 children I have come to terms with the fact that I will not look like I did in high school. That's ok with me. Really. I just want to feel strong. Healthy. I felt that way when I was doing the Tae bo. Sadly that slipped by the way side while we were in the turmoil of moving. I need to start again. I WILL start again.

The list could go on and on. This is enough for now.

Sure Happy It's Thursday!

Start reading Yahoo news. It'll give you a good idea of what's going on, it's convenient to do in between blog readings, and you don't have to put up with those crappy TV anchors. I hate watching the news because I always get annoyed by the anchors.

It's called a round toit - I always keep meaning to get one!!!

I'm not as fit or well-read as I should be. I'm working on the fit part having joined a gym, unfortunately my reading material currently consists largely of boring degree stuff. Even when I have time on my hands, (with full-time work, part-time degree and occasional weekend stepdaughter this is a rare luxury!) I still don't get everything done I want to. I don't think this affliction is limited to those with kids either.

And anyway, skinny figures only suit girls under 22. Anybody who is skinny over 30 just looks stringy IMO.

I need to read a little more too. the Book I am reading now is called, "The Slight Edge". I tells you how to get more out of your day by just doing the little things that will add up. It's an awesome book.

I like to walk and do my "oxycise". You can check it out at www.oxycise.com It's easy and can be done any time of day. My stomach and rear end are nice and tight when I do it daily.
