Finally back.

I'm back. I'm a little sad but I'm back. Maybe it is uncommon to love your in-laws but I truly do. (I bawled like a baby last night at the thought of her leaving.) My Mother in law has been here for the past week and I enjoyed every bit of it. Although I am a little more homesick for Colorado than I was before. Truth be told I'm sure it's not so much Colorado as it is all the family in Colorado. Even if I didn't see them all on the regular basis I could. If that makes any sense.

We didn't do a whole lot. Nothing really out of the ordinary. I wish we had but I have been kind of fatigued and not interested in doing too terribly much of anything. I'm trying to remedy that. She did give my husband and I a chance to have a date. It was so weird not having the kids with us. We didn't really know what to do with ourselves. We went to see a movie and then had dinner. It was short but it really did wonders for us. I got out my daughters doll house we bought her for Christmas and we started to assemble it. It is a lot more involved than I knew. The roof just isn't coming together like it should. I'm about to put it in the shop and forget about it!

I went to the doc last week. After my exam she said it "felt" like I was farther along than the dates would suggest so I have to go in for an ultrasound on Friday. It would be nice if she were right because that might push the due date into Dec. That would have a positive affect on plenty of things like taxes, insurance deductibles, and the fact my in-laws will be here to help out while I'm in the hospital. It's probably wishful thinking, I guess we'll see. Morning sickness has eased up, it's not gone by any means but it's been easier to handle.

I'm gonna get back to catching up on your blogs. I almost forgot to update because I got caught up in reading what you had to say!

I love my father-in-law as well (and the death of my mil hit me hard!).

I don't think I could ever move out of Ohio cause of all the family we would be leaving behind...I just couldn't do it.

Btw, I'm glad you are feeling a little better and that you got a date night with your honey...very cool!!!

Uncommonly, I love my in-laws too! In fact, you may have seen me call them my in-loves cuz that's what they are. Mr. Slade and I are going to move in with them for a little bit until we buy a house. I'm a little worried because I don't want it to ruin our great relationship--we shall see!

But I am glad you are doing a little better and here's hoping your due date is further along!

Maybe the inlaws can put the dollhouse together when they come down.

I really love my inlaws too. They are wonderful people. They moved to Florida about five years ago and I really miss them. Glad you had a good time with them.
