It rained off and on all day yesterday. Did it bring me down? NO! I love the rain! It can either invigorate me or make me want to snuggle up and veg. Yesterday was a veg sort of day. I got a manicure and a pedicure from my daughter and I played "cooking" with my son. It was a lovely restful day.
Those are the kind of days that remind me why I stayed at home with my kids instead of working. It wasn't to get an extra load of laundry done. It wasn't so my kitchen floor was so clean you could eat off it. It was to love and nurture my children. Sometimes I forget that and get busy doing "stuff". It's easy to get side tracked but yesterday I got my reminder!
Today....60% chance of showers.....right on!
Wednesday is here!

for me, the best thing to do when it rains outside is to sleep or to update my blog. Nothing is more inspirational than the rain.
I love rainy days as well! It's fantastic to know that I don't have to go anywhere and instead just spend some time with the boys!
We are getting some rain from that same system. Woohoo! Parts of the Texas Hill Country are still under a burn band.
As long as it doesn't rain in south west France for the next two weeks beginning Sunday, bring on the rain!
I love the rain too. Because "no one sees the teardrops when they fall". Actually that's from a movie song, tee, hee.
I just like getting wet..
I am SO sick of the rain around here. We went waaaay too long with constant rain that I am ready for some dry heat! I'll try and send any of our moisture your way.
I'm so glad you got to have a fun day with the kids. It's nice when you get those little reminders huh?
I don't mind rain, but out here in the Back Forty its massively humid, causing my long hair to frizz up so badly I look like I need to be locked away in an insane asylum--yeah..real crazy scientist type look. lol. Its nice to veg when you can too..been working on the afghan like crazy, and its really coming along! Cheers!
Its been raining here too. I took the opportunity to shampoo the dog outside. Yep, it was raining that hard, lol! Welcome to texas I guess! It really drenches us down here.
