I've been busy tending to my sick son. He's been running a fever and has developed a nasty little cough. I get a little jumpy when it comes to fevers. My daughter was hospitalized with gnarly fevers when she was close to my sons age. They creep me out. My son's has been very tough to break. He would just sit on the sofa and stare off into space. Today he appears to have ditched the fever but that cough is awful. It hurts his chest so bad. If I manage to evade what ever this bug is it'll be a miracle. He has coughed directly in my face countless times! We're working on the whole "cover your mouth" thing but it's a new concept to him. *sigh*
While we are talking about my kids....Does anyone know anything about sleep walking? It would appear that my daughter has had a couple incidents of sleep walking recently. One time she slammed face first into my sons bedroom door ,twice, she was trying to find the bathroom. She didn't remember any of it the next day. More recently she found herself on the sofa in the living room. She thought we had moved her there for some reason. When I got up I found the pillows all over the floor. When she saw me in the morning she asked why we made her sleep on the sofa. I don't know if this is just a phase or if there is more to it. Any ideas?
All my Christmas trees are down now. We've been drenched in rain so it was as good a time as any to pack up the last of the stuff. They are predicting flooding for the west side of my town. I hope it doesn't do too much damage. Right now there is standing water in my back yard and the street out front looks like a lazy river. I think we are on the tail end of the storm but I'm no weather woman.
Take care everyone!

There is nothing worse than having one of your kids get sick. Hope everything is better soon.

Last night's rain was really, really heavy and it flooded everything around here, too. It's supposed to rain a little more tonight here but then clear up for tomorrow.
Found this on sleepwalking:

I hope your son starts feeling better soon. Poor baby. I'll send lots of feel-good thoughts his way.
Here's the link. Doesn't look like it worked before.
I don't know about sleepwalking, but my daughter Sarah once sleep-painted her hallway....
I hope you don't get sick. I have big plans for you.....
Hope everyone is well for the New Year!
I think sleepwalking is a phase...my little sis used to do it as a kid when she got stressed.
Hope you & Cacaboy enjoy your special plans.
New Blogger sucks...that was me.
Hope your son is better now.
Wishing you a Happy New Year..
Is your daughter under a bit of stress right now? Could be a part of the prob..tho I'm no expert. Your sons coughing is good, provided hes coughing up whatever his lungs are trying to expel. Its those dry coughs that start deep down in the lungs where the person coughs so bad tey vomit is the ones you gotta look out for. But if his fever broke, then its a good sign . Sounds like hes got a great immune system. Hope you have a Happy New Year Oh Great One!

Happy New Year to you and your family xx
PS - I miss your mooning fairy!
Hey girl-
Happy Happy New Year!
I'm way late but wanted to comment...when I was a kid I would sleepwalk on vacations. Stopped when I hit my teens. Maybe your daughter's having a delayed reaction to the move?
