Thursday Thankful Thirteen

Due to my lack of interesting things to say. (I MUST have said something interesting somewhere in this blog, I just don't want to take the time to find it.) Today I'm going to try something new. Happy and Blue 2 has been doing a Thankful Thirteen list on Thursdays. Doth it thound like I wath talking with a lithp? Thorry. That was unnethithary.

1. I'm thankful that even though I know my husband very well he still manages to surprise me.

2. I'm thankful that I get the opportunity to raise both a boy and a girl. I can now add my two cents to those "Girls/Boys are easier" conversations.

3. I'm thankful for my pest control man. He has made my life so much better and for only 25 dollars a month!

4. I'm thankful most of the leaves have finally fallen from the trees around my house. I'm tired of raking. Don't get me started on the fact that while the last ones are falling I see new buds forming!

5. I'm thankful that even though I don't have anything great to report I don't have any bad news either.

6. I'm thankful for Dark Chocolate. Do I really need to explain this one?

7. I'm thankful for the little window that pops up when I get a new e-mail. It makes me happy.

8. I'm thankful my daughters fish hasn't kicked the bucket yet. He looks like he's on his last fin but he's hanging in there!

9. I'm thankful for Vanilla bean Noel from Bath and Body works. It is such a pleasant smell to drift off to sleep with.

10. I'm thankful I'm almost done with this list.

11. I'm thankful for that we made it through our first year in Louisiana without any hurricanes. My homeowners insurance is already sky high as it is!

12. I'm thankful that my son still takes naps. It's my "me" time.

13. I'm thankful that my blogger friends stick with me even when I have nothing good say.

God, I'm with you on the blogger friends sticking around...BLAH! I feel like I have NOTHING to say these days. AND I am just in a slumpy, dumpy, downer these days. I think it's just winter...Glad we all have each other!

I really liked your list.
I think my first one was nice like this one too. Now it's evolved into sarcasm. Which is odd for me, ha,ha..

Oooh dark chocolate, yum! The best bit is that kids hate it and you can have it all to yourself.

And this blogger friend is sticking around cos no matter what you say you always cheer me up!

I was always thankful to raise a son and a daughter because I could tell each they were my favorite. My boy was my favorite son; my girl my favorite daughter:-)

I am thankful you have good things to say even if you don't think you have good things to say. ;)
