Gobble-de-gook

I slept like crap last night. I thought the bed was big before. It's huge when you are all alone. I heard every little sound and woke up every hour or two.

I really don't like the smell of the detergent or fabric softener my neighbor uses. I can tell when she's doing laundry because her dryer vent is on the side of her house that faces my drive way. Is there any nice way I could say,"Hey can you switch detergents?" I don't smell it on them when I talk to them just when they do laundry. Hmmm.

I took down the crib yesterday. It kinda made me sad. I did find that someone was in need of a crib on "freecycle"(Thank you Ann!) and I thought I'd give it a new home. When I started taking it apart I was surprised it hadn't fallen apart! Several of the holes were stripped and one of the screws was so messed up I had to use pliers to get it out. I haven't set up this crib after either of our moves. Family members or movers did. I didn't know that it had problems! You'd think someone would have told me when they tried to put it back together. I'm lucky my son didn't jump around in his bed! WHEW!

I need cat food. Luckily the kind I've been buying isn't the "killer cat food". People are losing their pets and it seems they have little recourse. It's sad.

First it was leaves and now it's little seed pods. I've been sweeping up tree crud for months! My porches have a yellow hue to them from all the pollen. It's a pain in the neck to keep up with!

I see that all I'm doing is complaining today. I'll stop. No one likes a cranky old lady.

Have a fabulous Thursday!

Tree pollen at this time of year? What part of the US do you live in? Here in Calgary we are just getting rid of the snow!

:-) Glad to have helped someone else get some use out of your well-loved crib!

And everybody loves a cranky old lady. Crankiness is next to godliness.

I like cranky old ladies & work toward becoming one ever single day : )

If you have pollen...you have Spring...so I'm jealous.

Sometimes cranky is perfectly acceptable, and believe me, we all understand. I mean, you listen to our crankiness, right? You deserve a break though, so I hope Friday was better.

It does get lonely when you better half is not home and sleeping in bed with you.....

Glad you found a new home for your crib...it still has some life in it.

Pellen....tell me about it!....It's everywhere and anywhere. I can't keep my car clean and I think I'm having allergy reactions to it...This is the part of spring that I don't like. Good luck over there in Louisiana.

The pollen is totally killing me.

Also? What is UP with pet food that kills pets? That just seems like really bad marketing.
