I saw you...... Mowing in the rain........

I don't know whether this guy is truly dedicated or a fool. You be the judge. He managed to make a pass around the yard before the mower refused to run anymore. Can you see the rivers beginning to form on the sides of the street? It was POURING!

Then he switched to a push mower.

By the time he finished mowing the rain let up and he got out his weed whacker and edged the yard in the drizzle.

When he was done he spent FOREVER hosing down his mowers. He even ran them through the puddles in the streets. He came back Monday morning to edge some more. I can't help but think it would have been much easier to wait to mow the lawn. Maybe that's just me.

he's obviously not right in the head. besides, it can ruin the lawn, not just the mowers.

I wonder why the compulsion to mow in that weather? Someone telling him to? A big event where he won't have time to do it later?

It's very strange.

This is what happened:

He promised his wife he'd get it done. He left it to the last minute.
Really, he had no choice to do it in the rain, or else he'd have to go sexless for a week.

I don't know which one it is, him or her, but someone's got a few loose screws, and maybe a couple of bolts too.:)

Jay's got it right & who needs sexless?

I'm with Jay on this one. He's probably into kinky sex too and was probably getting kicks out of freezing his nuts off.

We have neighbors who do this, too. I DON'T GET IT, so I just chalk it up "bein' cajun."

I love the photographic evidence. My guess is that his wife was just annoying the crap out of him and he needed to get out of the house. Really, really bad.

Maybe he just has two loves---lawnmowers and water and couldn't resist the combo---like me with the chili at Wendy's

Why, why, why would a person cut the lawn in the rain?

I don't know what is funnier, the fact that he did it or that you got a picture and blogged it : )

The answer is obvious. Gas prices are so high he bought the new hydroelectric lawn equipment.
