Is it just me or has bloggerville been a ghost town lately. Everyone must be out enjoying their summers I guess. Not much happening around here either just a little of this and some of that.
My son has gotten the hang of using the toilet. He is no longer afraid he will be sucked "down the potty hole". Accidents are few. I can't leave it entirely up to him yet since he doesn't always allow enough time to actually get to the toilet. I remind him to go, but it's better than diapers! Now if I could only make him remember that he HAS to sit if it's #2. I've had to CATCH his business twice now! *shiver* The things you do when you love someone huh?
I pre-ordered my daughter a copy of Harry Potter #7 today. I feel like such a good mom some days. Walmart had the best price I could find with only .97 for shipping! I love Walmart. I hate Walmart....
My cat has developed allergies since we've moved to this moist state. He never fails to climb up into my lap and then sneeze a big ole snot wad on me. It looks like I could be doing battle daily to get him to take his meds. I need some chain mail.
It's Sesame Chicken for dinner tonight. It's my daughters favorite. (I'm totally getting the mother of the day award today!) It seems like no matter how much chicken I make it's just enough. I make more each time and I still feel like someone is going hungry. They gobble the stuff up!

Ah that would explain why it's ghost town on my site too - ppl are all outside enjoy sunshine while they can. :)
Make sure you don't let your son use the camp ground outhouse.
Hey I'm here, not as often as I was now a small person has taken over my life but I've got my eye on you!
Sesame chicken sounds yum. It's definitely a reflection on your cooking if your family are polishing off the whole lot.
I'm loving you!
Sesame chicken sounds delish! Recipe??
Oh, you remember it's this way every summer...people will start trickling back in around the time school starts back.
I am so feeling you on the potty stuff. My boys took what seemed like FOREVER to get completely trained, but now they are potty pros, complete with a newspaper and all:)
I will be at Books A Million on the night of the final Harry Potter release. It's a big deal here, the bookstore opens at midnight and there'll be a ton of people there in costumes and everything. It's like Halloween come early.
And on a final note:
I am LOVING how you managed a smooth, seamless segue from cat snot to Sesame chicken. Not everyone could do that. Kudos!!
Tawcan- Heh. I'll try to steer him clear!
Mrs T-You've got your hands quite full these days. It's nice to know you still pop by!
CCB-I'm lovin' you too you big ole hunka hunka man flesh!
Caramaena-I SHOULD share this recipe it's fantastic! I'll get busy.
Sprinkle- We went to the bookstore for the midnight release of the last book. What chaos! My daughter loved it though. Those things really make memories.
yeah, I'll admit that I haven't been on blogger much lately. With my shitty job and just stuff going on I have just wanted to come home, make dinner and veg at night rather than getting back on the computer. BUT I do miss you guys so I'm making more of an effort from now on!
I pre-ordered Harry Potter a few months ago too and I can't wait for it to come. I wish we had a WalMart around here, I am not sure I know where there is one close by...oh well
And the chicken sounds deelish! Sounds like your family are good eaters. You need to start buying chicken at Costco!
I love the Harry Potter excitement! The first time I saw kids lined up with their parents at midnight to buy a book, I broke down and cried...
mmm, sesame chicken.
I think I'm culprit #1 on the ghost town.
I didn't know we could pre-order from Wal-Mart...Thanks for the tidbit. Keep working on that you man and teach him how to turn around when he goes # 2......
Sesame chicken sounds really good right now. I've had to eat at McDonalds for the last three days, because of my husbands surgery, and I am ready for some real food. Are you sure you couldn't mail me some of that chicken...Now look what you did, I'm hungry!
Yep...snot & poops...that's love to me...I'm serious...would you deal with it from someone you didn't hold so dear?...um...no.
Glad to hear that potty training is going well.
