I seem to have hit a bit of a plateau in my weight loss efforts. I decide to add some weights to my routine. My neighbor was wanting to purchase a weight machine and I told her to just come use mine for a while to decide if she really wants one. We lifted on Monday and we planned to do it Wed. and Friday as well. It really felt good to have those lovely sore muscles. I love that.
My brother is coming to visit me on the 31st! I'm very excited, it has been years since we've seen each other. We talk on IM all the time but I'm looking forward to seeing his handsome face!
Has anyone ever purchased stuff from E.L.F (www.eyeslipsface.com) I've been getting emails in my junk folder and checked it out. Just about everything is a dollar. I wondered if anyone had tried it.
This is my first week of being back to "normal". CCB is back at work and my daughter is back at school. *sigh* I gotta get a lottery ticket so CCB can quit work and stay home with me!
It's HOT.
It seems my cat's have fleas. Neither of them ever go outside but that didn't matter. My older cat has an allergic reaction to the bites. What a pain. They must have come in on one of us humans I guess. I think we are on the down hill side of this issue but I'm keeping my fingers crossed and spreading bug killer on my lawns! *wink*
That's all for now, I have to go vacuum the carpets AGAIN. Gotta get rid of any fleas that might have settled in the carpet.

I've never heard of that ELF website either, but I'm not much of a makeup wearer in the first place...
And hooray for getting to visit with your brother! I find I miss my family quite a bit since I've moved so far away from them.
Stacey- I don't wear much make-up either but I do like a little sumpin sumpin for my lips and a little powder to get rid of my humidity glow! he he he!

Oh lordy don't get me going on fleas! Over the years I've spent a small fortune getting rid of them (injections, liquid to put on cat's neck, sprays the lot) and they always come back. We've got wooden floors and they love the crevices. Good luck and my sympathies.
yucky fleas! I remember when I was little we had a dog that infested our house and I mean BAD. I had flea bites all over me. We had to go stay in a hotel while they dropped a bomb in our house and since I was little I thought it was a real bomb. HA!
I have bough from E.L.F. and was pleased. I got brushes and I think some lip gloss. Nothing too crazy but was happy none the less. It did take a long time to get my things tho, probably because of the low prices and number of people ordering.
I love the weights at the gym---it's the cardio that I hate.

Have fun with your brother.....Good luck with your exerise......Good luck killing those fleas. When our cat brought in her fleas, I used Borateam laundry soap to kill them. You sprinkle some over your carpets, sweep it in, wait at least 24 hours and then vaccumn. The borax makes the fleas sterial and they can't reproduce. It might take a week or two to get them all, but it does work. Don't forget to do the yard, do the house and wash you pets at the same time or it won't work.....I hate fleas! Good luck.

Eighteen months ago I lost 48 pounds. My cardiologist was so proud of me at my last visit. I go back on Monday and I have gained back 24 pounds! I'm working hard to try to lose it before Monday:-)Well, right after this last donut hole.
No fleas this year so no opinion at this time. Don't cha just hate fleas?

salt kills fleas. try sprinkling some on your carpet after you vacuum.
